People mentioned calibrating the shunt to the meter. How is that done?

There is nothing to adjust. As a greater load is presented across the shunt or more current is drawn from a load, there will be more millivolts across the shunt which will be reflected on the meter as amps being drawn. I had also compare the accuracy of this meter with a digital amp meter and the readings are very close. Just hook the meter up er the instructions and it should work well.
