Great flea and tick remedy for dogs: reliable, effective and easy to use
I’ve been utilizing this product on my Frenchies for years. The one qualm I have about the product is its application. It’s a liquid or an oil substance that dispenses from a plastic “pen” that I sometimes feel might harm my dog if he tries to lick it. It’s never actually happened so my paranoia is yet unjustified. The oil is applied length wise from the base of the neck to about 3/4 of the way down the dogs spine. I’ve never had an issue with any of my dogs with fleas or ticks, the product clearly works well. I will continue to utilize this product loyally and with trust. It’s a little pricey, but my dogs health is invaluable.

Trusted protection, but effectiveness can vary by region
This is a well-known and trusted flea & tick treatment that’s easy to use and works as part of a monthly routine. Each application provides about 30 days of protection, and the formula is designed to kill adult fleas, eggs, larvae, ticks, and even chewing lice. Application is simple—just apply it to the back of your dog’s neck, and it spreads through the oils in the skin for full-body protection. It’s also waterproof after drying, which is helpful for active dogs. In terms of performance, it works well for many dogs and can kill adult fleas within about 12 hours and ticks within 48 hours, helping break the flea life cycle. On the downside, effectiveness can vary depending on your area—some users report it’s not as strong as it used to be, especially in high-flea regions. It can also take a full day or so to start working, and you’ll need to stay consistent with monthly use.

Bad batch
Didn't work. I have bought front line for years for my dogs and it's always done me good in the past. This batch didn't. This time when I applied it, it didnt do anything and i ended up with the worst fleas I've ever had. I decided to wait a few days, I know in some cases it takes time for the medication to work. After a few days I couldn't take it anymore, the fleas were out of control. Had to pull the combination of dawn dish soap and coconut oil out to get rid of them. Normally you would buy this stuff as a deterrent or treatment but I felt like it attracted them. Now I'm wondering if I should hope that I got a bad box or maybe it's time to switch to a different flea deterrent..

Don’t touch the treatment spot
No odor, but the area of use stays wet for a little while, so don’t pet it there. You don’t want to rub it in your eyes.
