Timex Easy Reader Date Full-Size Leather Strap Watch

Purchased in 2025 for my Dad's Fathers Day present. He loved it! Bought a slightly different, non "Easy Reader" watch first which was too hard for him to read easily. This watch is an EASY READER and PERFECT FIT. The PERFECT FIT feature lets a person remove and re-insert links in the watch band. Father and I have large wrists, he's an old mechanic, and the 8 inch band fits, but could be a little bigger. For most people, it will be perfect! Indiglo is very nice too.

It’s hard to think of a better value than this classic Timex design for $30 (Prime Day price). At 38mm, it’s the biggest size I can comfortably wear on my 6.5-6.75” wrist. It’s dressy enough to wear with a nice outfit, and it should wear in well enough to wear casually, too. The leather strap comes a little stiff, but that’s to be expected and should break in nicely. The hardware on the strap matches the case, a nice and shiny metal finish. The dial is a really nice deep blue and the numbers are easy to see. And the Indiglo is just so so easy to use. No need to worry about lume or other silliness—just press in the crown and the entire dial glows except the numbers and hands. The photo I posted makes the dial seem really textured. It is a little but less so than it appears in the photo. Overall, a terrific watch.

Perfect watch for elderly or limited mobility/dexterity people. East to read dial, old school stretchy metal band that is very easy to size. No tools required at all to adjust the band. It did get snagged once and broke a band link, just replaced the link with an extra one from the several that are supplied. The stretch band makes it easy to put on. My elderly father was struggling with his previous watch’s clasp and couldn’t read the watch face anymore. He loves this watch.
