The seat comes with mounting hardware for a standard bike seat post, which I did not use as the existing mounting hardware worked just fine and was lighter (aluminum vs. the steel hardware that came with the seat). You also get a wrench and two different sized hex wrenches which I didn't need as I had all the tools. The seat cushioning absorbs some of the bumps along with the rubber spacers under the back of the seat. The cushioning material does not feel like memory foam, but more like a standard medium density foam. Overall it seems like a well constructed product with red stitching to match my bike to boot! I researched (too many) seats for a bit less or more money, bought a lower-cost one, sent it back, and settled on this one. Bought a new bike for granddaughter and the seat was terrible. So I found this one. Reviews were good, price was good so I ordered it. She loves the bike even more now. Even I could sit on it and it did not hurt like the original. Seems like a good quality seat with just the right amount of padding. A nice unexpected feature is the red stitching matched the bike perfectly, as if that was the seat that came with the bike. Very pleased with purchase.

After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures provided by other buyers, I decided to pull the trigger. As you can see in the picture its wider than the little BMX style seat I had on the bike previously. Those seats are great if you're a kid, not so much for an older adult. Looks to be constructed well, not too hard but not spongy soft either, feels like good compliant foam. Install was simple. Came with some tools that really aren't the right size? I tossed 'm. How can you beat the price and the blue stitching? Goes without saying. Great purchase. My only recommendation is to the manufacture. You should consider offering these seats in white and med brown, and offer different color stitching on the black and white, and or diamond or pleated patterns, etc. You'll sell a ton of these.
