There is a big space before you get to #2. These provide great trimming options that are much closer than #2. The metal allows for a more professional fit. Replaces the plastic #1 and now I have all the trimming lengths I need for a great goatee and brows.

The guards fit perfect and feel a little more sturdy especially at the tip of the guard! Easy to put on and take off. I’ve only used them on the Magic Clips but no complaints.

These are an order of magnitude nicer the the all-plastic ones. They go on and off easily and stay on without rattling while you're trimming. One could survive with the cheap ones, but firmness of these promotes a quicker, more even cut with less frustration. I would replace my entire set of plastic ones with these, but post-pandemic, I'm just going to the barber more often instead.
