First rate!
This item replaced my first 40 year old X10 controller module. This whole system has been convenient, reliable and trouble free. Highly recommend this gear!!!

X10 Tranceiver , perfect teplaced older model

X10 Systems were the GREATEST
Keep having to replace these every few years hence the four stars... they just burn out, going weak first (last one got to where I had to get my UR-19a remote within 2 feet of it), then dead. Also, the unit is subject RFI (radio frequency interference) which make it not work say like when an induction motor fan is operating on the same circuit. Still, these X10 system components are priceless ~ too bad Radio Shack bought X10 out marketing it under 'ActiveHome', then discontinued them... SCRAP! Radio Shack used to be awesome ~ now just another pathetic cell phone depot... lost it's electronic craft edge.

Our old wireless transceiver died so we bought this as its replacement. It works perfectly and as expected!

Still available after all these years!
These are over 10 years old in technology, and should be cheaper. But, if you already have a sizeable investment in the technology and need a relay operated output - it's the best solution for the job. Just make sure nobody in your neighborhood has the same technology on the same channels or you will have all sorts of problems.
