I am the biggest fan of this company and their screen protectors. I first got a screen protector of theirs back in 2020 for my 2020 iPad Pro. I used the Pro very heavily for my university studies. That tablet was thrown into backpacks, dropped screen-first on multiple occasions, and written on with pencils (both apple pencils and otherwise, don’t ask). There is not a crack in the screen or a single scratch on that original screen protector after five years of extremely heavy use. I bought the same screen protector for my iPad mini. It has held up remarkably well as expected. The screen protector gives a paper like look to the iPad without the friction from similar screen protectors. This makes it easier to write on the ipad in my opinion. The screen clarity is not affected terribly by the matte finish, in my opinion it’s actually quite clear. I love this screen protector because it is also fingerprint resistant. Applying this screen protector is very seamless and honestly the easiest application process I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend this screen protector for its durability, function, protection, and ease of use.

This paper-feel iPad screen protector is amazing! It truly feels like writing on real paper and has completely changed how I use my iPad. The texture is perfect—not too rough, not too smooth—making it ideal for note-taking, drawing, and using the Apple Pencil with precision. There’s no annoying glare, fingerprints are barely noticeable, and the screen clarity is still great. Installation was easy, with no bubbles, and it fits perfectly. If you use your iPad for school, work, or creative projects, this is a must-have. I honestly don’t think I could go back to a regular glass screen protector after this. Highly recommend!

I get vertigo with migraines and it’s caused by light sensitivity. I don’t know what it is about glare, but it sets it off. This matte screen protector has changed my life because I can use my devices again. Like no joke lol it’s so sad to even say that. But- I ended up getting the matte protectors for my other devices after this one worked so well. This company makes good ones. It is very clear and doesn’t have any blurriness or distortion. I like the feel and it doesn’t get fingerprints on it easily. Like you have to be eating greasy chicken wings and handling your ipad to get them. Use the stickers to line up the screen protector before you take the film off. It was easy to apply and makes such a difference for my light sensitivity. If you have sensitive eyes, this is for you.

Very pleased with this. Alignment frame and cleaning materials make bubble-free installation easy. Feel is more pleasant than the bare glass, satin-like making swiping more pleasant. Anti-glare finish minimally degrades the image quality, I view photos and watch videos and forget that the protector is there. Fingerprint visibility is DRAMATICALLY reduced, they are still there but the anti-glare significantly reduces contrast between fingerprint and the screen itself. I’m spoiled now and will never go back. I actually just bought another one for my iPhone.

I got these specific screen protectors for my IPad Mini 7 because there is someone on Tik Tok that highly recommends this brand. I have always heard of matte screen protectors and for a while I thought that they didn't serve much of a purpose.... I was wrong. I purchased these screen protectors for my IPad Mini because I wanted something that was more "Paperlike" and less glossy since I take a lot of notes on my IPad for school and my business. I love the fact that these are matte glass screen protectors and not just a matte film that goes over your screen. The installation was very easy because of the alignment tool provided that makes everything so much more seamless. The matte finish reduces the glare of sunlight and bright lights so the reflection doesnt hurt your eyes or bother you, one of my favorite things about this is that it does not show fingerprints or smudges on your screen, I know it may not sound that important but fingerprints, smudges, and oil are one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to my phone, IPad, and laptop. Taking notes on my IPad with this screen protector is so easy because my apple pencil isn't sliding all over the screen due to the default glossy screen of the IPad. This screen protector also makes reading outside on a nice sunny day easy because it reduced the glare coming off of the screen so your'e not getting blinded by the angles of the sun. I recommended this screen protector to some of my friends because I loved it so much and they are so glad that they switched to a matte screen protector now instead of the generic glossy screen protectors

It’s hard to describe what it feels like without actually feeling it, but it’s so SOFT. Almost silky. It doesn’t really have the friction and grittiness of real paper, but it works well enough on my iPad mini. It definitely has a bit more grit than the regular iPad screen and the Apple Pencil feels good on it. I rarely use the iPad outside in the sun, so I’m not sure how it is in natural bright lighting, but I’ve never had a problem with visibility indoors. Installation is straight forward and I love that it gives a frame to set up. Be aware that the frame might not be perfectly aligned and that the screen protector is a few millimeters short from the edges of the iPad mini screen. Mine isn’t perfectly centered, but it’s good enough for me and doesn’t drive me up a wall. I haven’t had any problems with bubbles with installation. The screen has a bit of a thickness to it, but it doesn’t affect my drawing on Procreate or handwriting in notes. All in all, I love it. It’s a good deal for two and as long as you’re not messing it up with installation, one protector should last you a long while.

I purchased the 2 pack Mothca in August of 2024. The install was easy and I was okay with the clarity and the matte finish. Sensitivity was good for finger contact. In June ‘25 I had begun practicing with my slingshot indoors. The plus 90 degree Florida heat being oppressive . Using 3/8 steel ball bearings, and being skillful enough to. Keep my shots in a 3” circle at 15’ I felt secure practicing in my living room with a catch box for spent ammo behind the target. My iPad mini was open playing a podcast when due to a slight tear in one of my slingshot’s flat bands the uneven tension caused the shot to go way off target hitting my iPad screen. So needless to say I was bummed out. Just glad the iPad was still functional. Close examination convinced me the screen was cracked behind the screen saver so I left it as it was until yesterday, 4 months later. I peeled the screen saver and wonder of wonders , the iPad glass is not damaged! Check out the photos and you can see the point of impact. Glad I bought the two pack. 😊

Excellent matte screen protector. Easy to put on with the alignment adapter. Gone are the glare from light sources. Does not seem to affect image quality. Great that it comes in a 2pack in case you break one or have 2 of the same devices.

I was fed up of constantly cleaning fingerprints from regular glass screen protectors, so after reading other reviews and viewing video reviews I decided to take a punt on this product for my iPad Mini 6. I was concerned about how much a matte screen protector would affect the display quality, having had other paper feel type screen protectors in the past. I needn’t have worried, with the lack of fingerprints and the reduced glare, I think the picture quality is just as good as with the tempered glass screen protector I had on previously. As other reviews have stated, this screen protector, while matte, doesn’t feel like the paper type ones, but is more like the feel of a frosted glass bottle or drinking glass, silky smooth with none of the grabbing you get when you run your finger over regular glass screen protectors. The included fitting frame makes getting a centralised position quite easy, although the protector is a tight fit in the frame, so if you don’t have it tight up against the inside of the frame you may need to reposition it. The screen protector has a small clear border and with the wide bezels of the iPad, it looks very stylish once fitted. While this is expensive ish compared to all the generic tempered glass protectors available, you do get 2, so I think it is good value given the quality. I would suggest fitting it in a steamy bathroom to take as much dust out of the air as possible, I didn’t initially and ended up having to fit the second one, as while I maybe could have fiddled about with the supplied dust stickers to remove the trapped dust, I had a second one so didn’t bother mucking about.

I bought this matte screen protector for my iPad Mini 7 and I couldn’t be happier with it. It went on easily without a single bubble and fits perfectly. The matte finish makes the screen much gentler on the eyes and it really helps reduce the reflections that iPad Minis suffer from with their glossy screens. It would have been nice if it had a slight privacy angle, but even without that it does a wonderful job. The surface feels soft and smooth to use, and it stays much cleaner with fewer fingerprints. I’ve tried a lot of screen protectors for the iPad mini, but this one is easily the most satisfying to use — especially if you’re particular about texture and touch feel. The surface feels incredibly premium, almost like the nano-texture glass on the Pro Display XDR or even the glass trackpad on MacBooks. It has that velvety smoothness with just the right amount of resistance — perfect for both writing and everyday swiping. Extremely satisfying under the fingertip or Apple Pencil. The edges are beautifully finished — smooth and gently rounded, which makes it feel like a natural extension of the iPad rather than something stuck on top. It doesn’t catch at the corners like some cheaper ones do. My only gripe: the alignment frame that came with it wasn’t perfect. It left the protector slightly misaligned on my first try. Not a dealbreaker — just off by a millimeter or so — but worth noting if you’re obsessive about centering. That aside, once it’s on, it looks and feels amazing. If you’re looking for a screen protector that actually improves the tactile experience of your iPad mini, this one’s a winner.

Tatsächlich war ich noch nie so zufrieden mit einem Display-Schutz. Für mein zweites iPad mini (insgesamt das sechste oder siebte Tablet, das ich benutze), habe ich von Anfang an eine matte Folie/Glas haben wollen. Ich nutze es zum Lesen und für unterwegs als Ergänzung zu einem größeren iPad, dessen Display die optimale (also klare) Bildqualität behalten muss. Und genau dafür ist das hier der beste Displayschutz, den ich bisher testen konnte. Hochwertige Kanten, eine seidig-weiche, fingerabdruckverhindernde Oberfläche, eine tolle Reflexionsminimierung und sehr gute Farbtreue ohne großen Bildschärfeverlust. Nicht ganz billig (dafür gibt‘s aber auch eine zweite Folie inklusive), aber ein echtes Upgrade. Und ein Upgrade für‘s iPad ist normalerweise weeesentlich teurer, wie jeder weiß, der mal eins gekauft hat :D … Wirklich ein tolles Produkt!
