Clam Juice

I have been using Snows products for 30 plus years and it never disappoints. Tastes amazing and is top quality. In my opinion it’s better than the time it takes for scratch preparation. As a New Englander, clam chowder is a staple in our house. Everyone raves about my chowder and it’s always made with snows clam juice. Great value choice too.

As a person who grew up on the New England Coast, having fresh, homemade clam broth from both little necks and soft shelled clams, I can say that this isnthe BEST Clam broth. The flavor is deeper, and more authentic, than a fancier brand from Maine. Great job, Snow's! (...and thanks, Bumblebee, for keeping the Snow's brand at a high quality.)

Makes great clam chowder. I think the criticism about the clams being chewy could be because people are overcooking them. Just put them in at the end and warm them up. You don’t need to boil the tarnation out of them.

It's a first rate product, but some of the bottles are not properly sealed--the cap doesn't "pop" when opened, which means that air could have gotten in. The problem is not limited to Amazon; others vendors are selling bottles that are the same way.

I make clam chowder a lot and I always use bottled clam juice even when using fresh Clams. I use it in rice dishes that contain seafood. Good stuff!!
