I've been using Scotts Turf Builder for over 10 years with great results. It doesn't need to be immediately watered after application because I've found it does not burn your grass if you don't.

Good stuff! Has a few adds that a simple bag of nitrogen. Touch of iron helps the green stay bold . Highly recommended!

It may be the fact that I have a bag spreader but there are clumps from being stored that I will have to break up by hand or it will quit spreading evenly, if at all. Also, I believe I read on the bag or description that it won’t burn grass but I have 1 spot that I can say it definitely burned it. A 3 foot by 6 inch line and it may have been where I started off spreading and it was heavy or I don’t know but every where else has been fine and makes yard look wonderful. Only 2 reasons it didn’t get a 5 star

Good fertilizer but should not be a result for searching for grass seed since it is not grass seed
