Horse Spa Water-n-Hole Bucket Rim

I bought this bucket cover to help keep water in the bucket while hauling my horse, and I’m honestly impressed. It does exactly what it promises — minimizes splashing and mess without stopping the horses from drinking. Even after long hauls, there’s still plenty of water left in the bucket, and I’m not cleaning up a soaked trailer floor. It fits snugly over a standard bucket and stays in place even with a bit of movement. The material is durable, easy to rinse off, and doesn’t seem to bother the horses at all. One of my horses can be picky, but she had no problem figuring it out.

This is working really well for our trailer ride. He is in a box stall setting so we have room to hang it and leave it.

I love this thing. my horse was able to drink water in the trailer as we drove down the road. people said he would not drink water and that it was a waste of money $$!! Huh, what do they know! lol he did too because I have cameras in the trailer watching him and we saw him do it. He is a good drinker normally, so I didn't want him to be without water just in case he wanted it or if we got into a traffic jam on our long two-day trip. Its only $28. something and well worth it for peace of mind. I did what someone else suggested and put it on his water bucket in his stall the week before we were leaving so he was used to it.

Great product. My horse is a terribly messy eater. Loves to throw his mash out of his bucket to get the good parts first. I hate wasting expensive supplements!! I think if you are using dry food it will last a very long time, or if you just use it for water and give it time to dry out it will work. My horse gets fed a wet mash and he mashes it all over this cover. It gets into the Velcro and then he is able to remove the cover once food has mushed its way into the Velcro closures. So FYI if you are going to use this for a wet mash, you will have to rinse it out very well multiple times a week to keep it going. He has also worn holes into the fabric from the bucket rubbing against the wall. This really is the only product that has worked for him. He is just a really aggressive eater. I bought his first one this summer (around July) and am having to buy another one now (mid October) because he has destroyed the first one.. but it’s $32 to save $100’s in wasted feed! Besides the fact that it doesn’t last forever, it works well!

Easy to put on. It’s staying on. The horse isn’t even bothering to toss his feed bucket anymore. Happy horse. This product improved his meals so much! 🎉

Have a horse on stall rest that thinks its fun to play in water bucket, this has really helped keep the water in and her stall dryer. Excellent in the trailer too! Fabric is durable and velcro is tough I'll be buying an extra to have on hand for sloppy drinkers for sure.

I was able to use this for water buckets in our trailer. It works well on larger buckets. It reduces the splash of the water. For the price I would recommend.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THESE SLOSH GUARDS!! I have a 16.2 OTTB who throws her food out of the buckets like she's mad at it! I did not enjoy being on my knees gathering it up and giving it back. But now, using these slosh guards that's a thing in past!! I'm using 2 now and I plan on getting another one. Thank you to whoever invented them!!
