Steviva Brands offers a new, natural sweetening solution that brings together just the right amounts of monk fruit, stevia and erythritol, a sugar alcohol derived by microbial fermention, to create a truly clean, delectable sweetener. This combination offers multiple advantages. Monk fruit and stevia are high intensity sweeteners, with about 200 - 300 times the sweetness of table sugar (sucrose). Flavor is the biggest payback. On its own, stevia can have a bitter note. Monk fruit is a natural flavor enhancer that helps mask off-notes/flavors in stevia. Erythritol contributes a mild cooling effect. Overall, the sweetness delivery is clean and neutral. This optimized low-carb/low-calorie sweetening solution allows you to reduce or eliminate added sugar in your diet! Perfect for low carb dietary plans, such as keto and paleo. How Do I Use It? You can use it right away, as an easy substitute for sugar in coffee or tea. There are 96 servings (teaspoon size) in our 1 pound bag! Remember, you'll only need half as much as regular sugar. MonkSweet+ dissolves instantly in any hot or cold beverage -- just pour and stir! When baking, replaces table sugar about 2 for 1 (2 cups of table sugar = 1 cup of MonkSweet+). Use it in coffee, tea, smoothies, sauces, dressings and baked goods. Anywhere a healthy substitute for sugar is desired. About Steviva Brands: Begun in 1999, Steviva's been a leader in bringing a whole new generation of healthy sweetening options to consumers. A favorite of food manufacturers for years, you may already be enjoying our products in the very best of the healthy low and no-cal foods in your local store. Based in Portland, Oregon, Steviva, we are pleased to provide sweeteners directly to you! Review: Best substitute for cane sugar I've found in decades of searching! - How do I love thee, let me count the ways!!!! I grew up in a household with a diabetic family member, so I am well versed in the traditional offerings available as sugar substitutes: saccharine (blech!), aspartame, steviols, etc. Believe you me, I've been exposed to them all - in varying quantities, flavors and disgusting permutations of my mom's recipes, bless her heart. Now, since I'm the mom, my family eats primarily sugar-free as we have a diabetic and others needing to mind their weight. As others have mentioned, Stevia alone just doesn't cut it even though it is much better than the things I grew up with. Oh, I liked it at first (when I started eating healthier, went sugar-free over two years ago and have lost over 50 pounds and kept it off) but eventually began to notice a real aftertaste - especially in my morning coffee, so I began looking for other options besides returning to the bad ol' white cane sugar. MonkSweet is now our favorite option for sweetening. I have used it to make turtle cheesecake, chocolate cake, cookies, caramel sauce (BRILLIANT, just gotta say it!), sweeten my hot cereal, coffee and tea, and in other baked goods and other sweets - because I confess, I have a serious sweet tooth! Although it contains Erythritol in a very fine granulated form, it does not have the cooling effect that straight up Erythritol has (which I don't mind, but without it is even better!). My extended family didn't realize I'd snuck in a sugar-free dessert at Thanksgiving until I told them. There are other yummy monkfruit blends out there, but I love this one (the 5 lb bag) not just because of because of the fantastic taste, but also because of the handle bag, pour spout, and the convenience of it all! My hubby uses it now to make his Texas-style sweet tea (HUGE win!!!!) and you cannot tell the difference between his tea and the real deal - it's just that great a substitute for cane sugar! Also, with the fine granulated form of Erythritol that it contains, it dissolves nicely - comparable to a superfine sugar. My only warning about using it is not to use TOO much or it can be tooth-achingly sweet (without the tooth-aching part, because, hey - sugar-free!). So to that end, I'd say - although monkfruit blends are typically said to be 1:1 substitutes for cane sugar, go a little low on the measure of monkfruit - I usually start with 3/4 of what the recipe calls for in cane sugar and find I have better results with that. Also, I will say that while it hurts my frugal soul a bit to pay this much for 5 pounds of sweetener, if you figure out that you CAN use less with great results, plus figure in the annual cost of weight gain and poor health issues due to the inflammatory effects from cane sweeteners, etc, in the long run it is a great deal. I'm glad I discovered monkfruit, and specifically MonkSweet. My hubby doesn't want any other brand (because he loves the packaging of this one with the pour spout and handle so much!). I highly recommend it! Review: Great taste, but harder to dissolve than sugar - I have been using this product for a year and definitely recommend it to anyone who needs to avoid sucrose because of high blood glucose. Compared to plain stevia extract, this combination overcomes all the taste discrepancies and also works well in recipes with one caveat; it needs the dish to have a high enough temperature to completely dissolve. I learned this making a whipped cream that had the right sweetness, but texture had crystalline overtones.

Finally, a truly good sweetener without the drawbacks!
I've tried them all in an effort to escape the negatives of sugar, with Splenda being the sweetest ... and Stevia the next best... until now. This MonkSweet+ Stevia product exceeds all the rest in terms of taste... and gets the nod for having a pleasant, naturally sweet flavor without any hint of an after taste. It looks, tastes and cooks much like sugar but requires 50% less to achieve the same degree of sweetness. The best aspect is, it carries none of the negative effects of all the others... no calories, no blood sugar spike, no net carbs, no cavities, no funky aftertaste, and no hidden health impact. Give it a week or so to adjust to the new normal... you won't be sorry. Great product... I just reordered a couple more 5 lb. bags directly from the source website, even more economical than Amazon!

The BEST Keto sweetener
I have been eating Keto for over a year and have been low carb for several years. I have tried almost every sweetener out there and this, by far, is the BEST sweetener out there. Very little to no aftertaste and I don't get that "cooling effect" others give me. My tip when using this sweetener is to measure out what you need then grind it in a coffee grinder. I do this for all my sweeteners because it cuts aftertaste and also distributes and dissolves better when baking. I will be a loyal customer for life. Also, one last thing- THANK YOU for the cap/spout on the 5 lb bag. I hate, hate, hate zip tops because they never close right. I wish you'd put the cap/spout on all the size bags. So convenient and I don't have to worry about it leaking or wasting any of my precious monksweet ๐ (Picture: for my daughters 10th birthday she requested a low carb chocolate cake with homemade sugar free strawberry jam filling with a sugar free strawberry cream cheese buttercream frosting. Sugar free and DELICIOUS thanks to Monksweet!)

This Stuff Rocks! About to Order It Again
1. Taste - wonderful, no after taste. 2. Erythritol component - I don't begrudge them for the dominant erythritol component after learning that it's the component that brings the volume as it's the 70% sweetness component. The stevia and monkfruit are the super concentrated components. No digestive issues for this customer. 3. Packaging - Genius, with the screw top spout instead of ziplock style. 4. Health - Kosher, doesn't stimulate insulin, Keto friendly, yada yada. Works for me. 4. Price- Kind if pricey but worth it, as this no BS product quite simply, delivers

Simply the best.
I've tried a number of natural alternative sweeteners over the years and started to think finding one I liked was a lost cause; That was until I got my hands on Monksweet Plus. It's hands down the best sweetener out there. Taste is really neutral, definitely not identical to sugar but not far off, and simply the best flavor out of any alternative sweetener I've ever tried. Whole Earth is the only other sweetener I've tried that tastes good (packets from Starbucks, contains Fructose), but for the price Monksweet Plus is a much better deal. I don't have any health issues that require me to use this sweetener, really just wanted to cut sugar out of my diet where possible and this stuff works wonders. I've never baked with it but it goes excellent in coffee, teas, homemade soda, etc. I highly recommend this product.

Not suitable for ketogenic dieters or diabetics
I knew it was just too good to be true the second I tasted it. I'm crushed I spent $35 for a 5 pound bag of this sweetener and now after just 2 tsp in my coffee my entire diet is ruined and it will now take me another week plus to get back into ketosis. I got the product yesterday. Took a teeny taste on the tip of my finger and thought yum. Tried exactly 2 measured tsp in my 18 oz coffee with heavy cream and MCT oil as I have every morning in place of my usual plain stevia extract liquid and within 2 hours I was sweating profusely as if I had eaten a half a pan of cinnamon rolls or something. I went to check my blood ketones with my meter and sure enough I had gone from 1.8 prior to the coffee (fasting when waking first thing this morning) to Lo on my meter in just 2 hours after consuming this product. I did not consume anything else as I usually fast except for my morning coffee until dinnertime (18 hrs fasting 6 hrs eating intermittent fasting here) my ketones usually measure between 2.2 and 2.6 after my morning coffee with just the plain stevia extract in it. I'm hoping they will let me return it since it definitely does NOT work for me. Glad others out there enjoy it it's definitely delicious but now I know why! Update.... Sadly I've tried contacting the seller about a refund and returning the product it's not eligible for refunds or returns. Never got any response in 4 days after messaging them either. Guess they don't have anything to say about their product causing blood sugar and blood ketone to spike after consumption. Buyer beware!

Best Sweetener That We've Tried, But Wrong Package!
I was hesitant to try this sweetener because of the price. And it is on the pricey side like most non-sugar sweeteners, but I have to say this one is the best tasting sweetener that we have tried. I use it in my tea and coffee and can once again enjoy the flavor of the drink. We used Stevia products for a long time but it made my tea have such a bitter flavor, but MonkSweet Plus has allowed me to once again enjoy a good cup of hot tea. I was disappointed however that the 5 lb. bag that I received did not have the screw-top opening as was pictured. I was excited about the convenience of that, but the sack I received was the old-fashioned zip-lock bag -- and it will not reseal! So I am very happy with the product, but very unhappy that I did not receive the package that was pictured.
