Wacky Weather Oh, the Things You Can Do That Are Good For You Super-Dee-Dooper Book of Animal Facts Oh, the Pets You Can Get Review: Cute Book - I have a group of students who are both into money and Dr. Seuss books. This book was a hit when I brought it in. This book goes through a history of money in a fun silly manner. There is a lot of rhyming and silliness. This book also introduces some money concepts that are relevant today. While this book may not actually teach money and how to add it, this book is definitely one worth adding to any money curriculum. Review: Yea for Dr Suess - I am thrilled to have added this to my classroom collection of Dr Suess. The children loved this story and it for our theme so nicely.

This Cat in the Hat's learning series is great. It goes into some depth on the subject of money (talking about the barter system) and includes fun trivia about some old kinds of money. I like the fact that it offers real information without talking down to kids. It assumes that they are smart and curious, and the books do not shy away from introducing adult words where appropriate. I would not hesitate to recommend this one, Oh Say Can You Seed, or even the books in the series I haven't bought yet. You will not regret this purchase.

Awesome Product!
You would think a Dr. Seuss book would be fictitious. But this teaches the history of money in Dr. Seuss style. I teach a moderate and mild special education self-contained class and I think all those teachers should purchase this book!!

Not for young kids. Very in depth
This book was packed full with so much more information than I expected. They really went back in time with where money came from back to when shells were used for currency. I was hoping they would talk more about counting and American currency (which they did towards the end). This was a bit too in depth for me, and my 3 year old did not completely follow along so I think it was a bit better suited for an older child. Nice to have in our collection and I expect her to be more interested in what it says when she gets a bit older.

Cute book!
Used this to have people sign as a guest book at a baby shower for a co-worker in the banking industry. It was perfect and everyone thought it was such a cute book!

Not for us
I returned this book. My 4 year old was so disinterested after 2 seconds! I thought it was going to teach him about how to use money, save it etc, but it was just a history on money... Super boring and all American. We are Canadian so it didn't even apply to us.
