Clean Fresh Skincare Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturizer, 2.0 Oz

Although I have oily skin, I like to moisturize prior to my makeup application. As my oily skin people know, you have to be mindful of what type you use. I previously used a name brand name and was looking for something more affordable. My search for a light, incredibly absorbent moisturizer brought me to CG Mattifying cream. I decided to purchase from Amazon as it has the better price. The texture, fragrance and absorbency is amazing. I applied to my face and waited a few minutes and can feel a difference. I continued to prime my face as usual and applied my makeup. It’s a very good moisturizer for a very good price point. Now don’t go thinking it’s gonna keep you matte all day, it may or may not depending on how oily you are. I can’t say I noticed a difference in doing so compared to my previous brand name moisturizer BUT as far as moisturizers go, I love it for my oily skin and it prepped me beautifully before applying my makeup. It’s a must have in my cosmetics bag now!

Had to find a new daytime moisturizer since Neutrogena discontinued my last fave. I am not one to spend much on cosmetics or lotions, so this fit right in my budget. Absolutely love it! I use it during the day alone, it definitely gives you a matte finish. After a few hours, my nose sometimes gets a little shiny, so I just use some powder and it's back to matte! I have not broken out at all, which is great! I really don't notice much of a smell, which disappears quickly, and I'm usually sensitive to that. I do use a heavier moisturizer at night along with my serums. Has been a great combo. My skin looks and feels great! I would say to let this completely absorb before putting anything on top. When I first got it, I tried putting my night lotion over it, and it pilled a bit. I'd imagine this would happen if you tried to put foundation over it. I don't use foundation, so I can't confirm this, but it sounds reasonable to me. Anyways, I'm hooked! And at this price, it's definitely worth a shot!

Great product for face care. Reasonable price

I put two serums on in the morning after washing my face and then this moisturizer. It dries quick, it's SUPER lightweight and it feels matte to the touch. I would say it reduces my shine considerably but possibly because I'm still using 2 serums under it I still notice a bit of a shine. Either way, a little sebum powder in my case and I'm COMPLETELY matte. There's a TON of product and it only takes a little to cover your face, so it's also a great value, and I plan on repurchasing whenever I get through this container!

Other people might have a good experience with this product, but it just wasn't right for me. I wanted it for the mattifying effect, and didn't notice any improvement at all. Otherwise, it is especially good if you're looking for a light moisturizer. It made my skin very soft.

Let me start by saying, I have a very oily skin - shining like a mirror kinda oily. So believe me when I say this works! It cut my shine by 90% and nothing has ever done except powder. It's very light with a beautiful scent, a little goes a long way. Don't be fooled by the dewyness it leaves after application, it disappears leaving you shine free. I have a new must have 🥰

So... My face has always been really really oily, and bc of my oily skin and me not finding a cream or lotion that won't add more oil to my skin or that wouldn't break me out I gave up aling time ago. I randomly saw this on Amazon and decided, since it's Cyber Monday, I'll try it out! I came in the mail today and I washed my face and put it on afterwards, and I am very pleased & happy I purchased it! It's been on for 3 hours now, no oil and no breakouts!!! My face feels amazing, super clean and fresh! Not to mention it smells wonderful! I definitely recommend it.

Very nice cream for oily/ combination skin. Feels light and not greasy. Smells nice. It still makes me shine at some areas after 3-4 hours, but I would say that other creams did it in 1-2 hours (I don’t believe those day creams that make you not shine the whole day even exist!). Also good under the make up. Recommend with 5 stars!

I haven't been able to find this at my local stores lately and I'm very happy I was able to find it on Amazon I love this stuff. I have very oily skin and I find that it doesn't make my skin too dry

Refreshing on the skin

This is one of THE best moisturizers I’ve ever tried!!!! It scored a 100 after using an app to check for the ingredients list!!! I have oily combination skin so I need the matte finish and oil free!!

İ have an oily skin and I choose Matte or non-oily water based face creams to avoid breakouts. This cream is exactly as described. It has a matte finish with a nice fragrance. But after using it, the skin does not look or feel moisturized. It feels dry instead. It doesn't add that soft feeling.
