Grout Pen Ivory Tile Paint Marker: Waterproof Grout Paint, Tile Grout Colorant and Sealer Pen - Ivory, Wide 15mm Tip (20mL)

I am so pleased with this grout pen. I have an area in my shower that has some dark stains from mold.I tried so many things to remove it but only about 80% can be removed. So there is this stain that won’t come out. I decided to buy a special grout removal head for my oscillating tool to remove the grout and then put new grout in the space. Well I didn’t get around to doing that project yet and the other day I came across this grout pen and decided what the hell I’ll try it. If it’s no good I still will be cutting the grout out anyway. Well it came today and I applied it gently to the stained area and it covered it up beautifully. I bought the thinner tipped version. It really looks good. I don’t now how long it will last but it saved me a load of work and I’m so happy about that. Great product

Fantastic product. My grout in the kitchen tiles had gotten stained and dark. It always looked dirty. It was so easy to apply the grout paint and sealer with this marker. I’ve only done a small portion so I could see how mopping and steam cleaning worked with that area. It worked with no issues. Ready to do the rest of the area. I’ve already bought more markers and waiting for delivery.

To begin with, it’s very hard to choose a color grout pen, period. Unless you moved into a place when it was first built and the grout was fresh and you can remember that color, it’s very hard to tell what the original color was supposed to be. So imagine how difficult it is to choose a color over the Internet. Well, ivory worked for me. It’s not a pure, bright white, like bleached-teeth-under-ultraviolet-light-burning-your-eyes color. It’s also not too dark, in fact, not really at all, although the cap of the pen itself suggestd a brownish color. There are a couple of things to keep in mind with the product- which I think is excellent. First the tip of this pen is quite wide, I knew I didn’t want the smaller size because I’m dealing with 1‘ x 1‘ + plus tiles with a good amount of grout in between them. But these pens are even wider tipped than particularly wide grout, which makes the process of using them go a little slower, because you will find you’re constantly wiping up paint that gets on the tiles themselves. This might not be unique to this brand, but just keep in mind, you will have to do some cleanup along the way to make the lines look nice and straight and everything cleaned and even. The other thing to consider is how much tile area do you need to cover? Where I live 3/4 of my home is tiled, and this pen went a decent way into covering that area, but I still have a very long way to go. This sounds like a reasonably priced pen and it probably is. But I’m going to need four or five of them to finish my project. So unless your project involves one small room like a bathroom, don’t expect a single pen to do the entire job, especially since you’ll want a couple of coats. All that said, I’ve purchased more which are on their way, and these aren’t complaints, but rather just things to factor in when making a decision. And naturally, I only started by purchasing one of these in case it was the wrong color, or it was too thick to use at all or anything else. Once you find a color you like, if you’ve got large tiles with a good amount of grout between them this is a good choice to revitalize your grout.

Three weeks since using and so far it has worked like a charm. I used it on shower floor tile grout. The color (ivory) has been perfect for revitalizing the stained grout. I was very impressed with how far this one pen would go and how well the pen tip held up on very rough grout. I figured that if I get six months out of it, I'll be extremely satisfied. We'll see....

I will start off with the good. It is very convenient and easy to use. Looks good on the grout with the tile, really freshens up the look of the floor, and is easier than grinding out the grout and regrouting. Mine is a fresh install so I can't comment yet on the longevity or the stain resistance. Now for the not-so-good. The color samples presented in the descriptions are really of no help in determining what the paint will look like on your grout with your tile. One of the downsides of buying something like this online. We went through 4 or 5 orders before we could find the right color. The ivory is too yellow, etc. As for the coverage, 60 meters? Really? That's close to 180 linear feet. We got more like 25 to 30 linear feet out of a pen. The pens contain very little paint (0.1 oz) and they don't go far. If we had this to do all over again I would have gone to a paint store and bought a pint of the same kind of paint and used an artist brush to paint it on.

I tried everything to clean my grout on the floor and in the shower. Nothing worked. I saw this product and figured it was so cheap, it was worth a shot. I was worried it would look cheap or tacky or like I had simply painted the grout. Boy was I ever wrong. This product is absolutely amazing!!! My grout actually looks like it is brand new!! It doesn’t look painted or anything, just looks completely new. I did the floors in my kids bathrooms about a week ago, and they splash on the floor like crazy, and the grout has held up and looks great. My bathrooms look so good I’m showing everyone before and after pictures!! I’m so happy with the results. It goes on super fast and is crazy easy. If I had to complain about anything, it’s that the nub of the product can get smashed down if you press or go back and forth too much, but it didn’t smash enough to make the product unusable. Ever so often I would pull out and reverse the nub super easily to kind of ensure it didn’t smash down too much and to keep the substance flowing out. Highly recommend this product!!!

The pens worked great!

This paint is working on the grout in my bathroom. I need to reapply it often. I cover up the deep stains though. Easy to use. Dries fast. Color matched well.

Brilliant product, used for bathroom and also kitchen tiles. Easy to use and great coverage so ling as you don't press too hard on the nib and mess it up. Quite hard to colour match - would appreciate a good colour picture of all colours on the sites

I bought the Ivory pen, as my grout is an off white colour. This is a pretty good match, a bit whiter than I would like, but the colour looks ok. My bathroom is fully tiled, and one pen has done all the tiles. I did buy some of the replacement nibs though, and used 4 nibs altogether, as they don’t last very long. Only time will tell if it is long lasting, but I would prefer to use these pens once every year or two if needed than have all the mess and hassle of getting the grouting replaced. All in all, very pleased with the result.

Hay que tener cuidado porque algunas veces sale más cantidad de la esperada y hay que limpiarlo rápido para que sea menos costosa la limpieza, pero es mucho más práctico y limpio que otros métodos que he utilizado para este fin

Gute Wirkung

I bought this to clean up the grout on floor tiles. The larger nib is the perfect size however the colour is a bright white, there is not a hint of ivory whatsoever. Really disappointing!
