Works great on 2L soda bottles
I have 2 of them on a couple 2L soda bottles, a diet Pepsi and diet caffeine-free Pepsi. They can often sit in the fridge for days at less than half or even less than 1/4 full. These fizz keepers have kept them as fresh as a fresh-opened bottle. When the bottle is really low, it can take quite a few pumps to get a really good pressure. The pump action is so easy it feels like nothing is happening, but placing my hand on the bottle you can feel pressure building with each pump. This works pretty much exactly has I had hoped. I don't worry about breaking open a fresh bottle for a quick caffeine fix , as I know the rest will now store for a long time.

Definitely builds the pressure & holds it. Not sure if it actually increases longevity of the fizz.
It creates a high-pressure seal on a 2L bottle exactly as advertised. It's super easy to use. Requires a lot of pumping, but who cares! It's not like it's difficult. My main concern is that I'm not convinced it actually helps. I've not done a scientific study, but even when I've pumped this so much the bottle is rock hard, it still seems to eventually go flat in the same amount of uses as when I don't use it. By the third or fourth opening, it seems to have the same fizz. But maybe it's working and I'm being too picky? Regardless, I've used three of the lids so far on different bottles and it gets super pressurized and stays sealed.

Excellent for soft drinks
We have been using this brand of fizz keeper for many years and are very satisfied with the pump cap. A few pumps and the soft drink keeps it's fizz. Like every other product, it does wear out after time and many pumps. Getting 4 pumps in one order lasts for years. Good product

Needs way too many pumps
I know, it is manual, but it isn't easy to pump either. I keep pinching either the flesh on my fingers or my palm/hands pumping 50-60 times to get it nearly hard. It is way better than just a plain cap, it has kept it fizzy for 3 days...

These do work!
I love these pump caps and have been using them for 20 years at least. You just have to make sure, you pump it enough to have the same bottle feel as when the bottle was unopened. The larger the bottle (like a 2L) the more you have to pump! I specifically do not buy 2L bottles anymore. 1L is the largest because when you're down to 25% left, it's at least 25 or more pumps to get it firm enough to keep it fizzy.

Used to be a great product, but the new i caused you to pump and pump and pump!
I found one of these pumps in a drawer, which I had purchased yours to go. I started using it again and it worked perfectly. I wanted some more so I ordered the packet of four. However, to my surprise, none of the four worked very well at all. Some worked better than others but all needed 10 times the amount of pumps to pressurize the container than my old one did. I compared the new one to the old one and they looked exactly the same. However, there was a noticeable difference in the weight. It appears that the manufacturers have changed the plunger in someway so that it does not work very well at all. I assume this was to save money, but they took a great product and turned it into a very poor one. I will never buy this product again.

Great!!
We started buying these 35 years ago. I love Diet Coke out of the 2 liter bottle, but no matter how much air you squeezed out or how tight the cap isโit would go flat the next day. We found these in a mall kitchen store and decided to try them. They work and keep my drink carbonated for three days! Well I think soโa 2 liter never lasts that long! We have tried other brands but they are NEVER as good as this brand. Yes after a while they give outโbut Iโm talking years of use. If you like 2 liter bottles too โthese are for you!

Donโt bother
You get arm cramps to pump the thing until the bottle is got enough pressure and of course the less in the bottle the more the pumps. 2 out of the 4 went into the garbage because the wouldnโt even work on a full bottle. 1 more went because after all the pumping it wouldnโt hold the pressure. It takes forever and the one I have left isnโt worth my time. I can refill 16 oz bottles to save the soda in half the time and they last longer as well.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR
I have been looking for these for a long time, until I found them on Amazon, with a lot of searching. I used to have 2 of them many years ago, but they somehow got lost. They do keep the fizz in your pop/soda if you use these correctly. To keep the fizz in pop, you have to pump air "into" the bottle. You have to pump many times, especially if it is a 2-litre bottle. Pump (many times) until the bottle is firm and you are good to go. This acts as a pump and a lid for the bottle. I am so happy to have found these.

Prezzo alto ma eccezionale
Ha un prezzo veramente alto ma funziona in maniera eccezionale. Riesce a creare e a tenere grandi pressioni.

Works just like advertised.
Works just like it should.

Works
I think they need to be bigger. When you get down near the bottom of a bottle you are pumping for a min.

They do as they should but the pump only burps tiny bit of air each time you push it. .
From the top it doesn't actually pump air till the last half inch. The pump seal needs major change to work effectively. If the bottle is half empty, then you need to pump over 50 times.
