The inside of these were so soft my boy didn’t want to take them off. Kept him warm all day in very cold weather with no complaints.

XSmall fits my almost 3yo perfectly with room to grow (elastic waist is just right). Small fits my almost 5yo with lots of room to grow (elastic waist is a couple inches too big since he has a skinny waist, but I just roll it down once and it does just fine, especially since he's wearing these under other clothing which help to keep them up). These are great quality thermals and I am only putting them on the boys for a couple hours each day outside, under their pants or a rain suit where they're not getting dirty, so by removing them when they come in the house they can actually wear them for many days in a row! Awesome buy, totally worth the money and encouraging us to have more outdoor play time.

These are a lot bigger than I expected. If you're like me and usually size up for a little extra room to grow, do not do it.

My son is 5 yrs old and weighs 49lbs and is 40 inches tall, the x-small was too big for him in the pants, sagged too much in the crotch area
