How wide is the ruler? Not the thickness, the measurement from the top edge to the bottom edge.

Ruler size is correct. It is usable at times but overall, ruler is much too thin, waves about. Not a sturdy ruler which selling ad never addressed , I assumed it would be a rigid type as other stainless steel one are.

No, it does not. It has 4 different scales - 2 on each side
