This stuff works!! But do your research. I recently moved into a house that let their dog pee directly on the concrete floor. I thought I’d give this a try after cleaning the floor three times with some enzyme cleaners and baking soda and vinegar. That definitely helped, but the smell was still horrendous. After throughly cleaning I did the treatment and I’d also recommend getting a gas mask, especially if you will do multiple treatments at once. **this stuff IS STRONG, hence why it works!! I’m very sensitive to bleach smells and have had near panic attacks from the smell-but this did not give me that reaction although it does have a bit of a chlorine/pool like smell. One I started the treatment (at night to make it more effective and covering all windows) I left and stayed overnight with someone else. I came back about 20 hours later. Like I said it has a pool smell but quickly aired out. It has been a day and a half and I’m **shocked** at how much of a difference this made. It also got rid of the slightly musty smell that was also there; I thought I would have to do multiple treatments. I’m planning on ordering another kit for my main floor and upstairs. I don’t usually write reviews but this is definitely worth your money if you do your research, follow safety guidelines and want your house to smell better without paying the big bucks!

Be extremely cautious when using this! I wore a chemical respirator and goggles when setting it up and the smell was still overwhelming and potentially dangerous. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BREATHE IN THE GAS! It starts reacting instantly and no readily available equipment will protect you from it. Hold your breath, dump it in water and RUN don't look back or delay for anything. I used the entire bag for a 1200sqft apartment and it worked very well for removing the old pet/mildew smell. I set it up in a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone by the intake to the HVAC system and let it circulate for 24 hours. After 24 hours the smell is still very strong so I'd recommend having a chemical respirator for going in to open windows, at that point it was weak enough the respirator could handle it. But strong enough you don't want to breathe it. There was a faint residual chlorine smell for about a week that was very pleasant in my opinion but is now completely gone. I did the treatment about 5 months ago and it's permanently removed about 95% of the smell. It's good enough for me but I'm pretty sure if I did another treatment it would completely take care of it.

Purchased a used car that had a smoke smell. I had the car fully detailed and spent a small fortune on ozone and was still left with a smell that would reappear when the car sat in the sun. The ozone did seem to clear the vent system out, but I needed to find something that would get the rest of the smell out of the upholstery. Ozone made me nervous with the possible break down of rubber, electronics and leather, so I did only 2 hours of ozone (though detailer said I needed to do 3-4) and didn't want to do it again for fear of running the interior. After much research, I found companies offering a chlorine dioxide service, but then came across this product. The reviews, ease, and cost sold me and without fear of harm to the interior. Like ozone, I wanted to do the less approach and see the outcome as I could retreat without worry to the electronics and rubbers. The instructions state to park in shade, but that was not possible so I put blankets all over the car blocking out 100% of the sun. I future followed the instructions and used 2oz of warm water to 20 tablets. I put the water in a plastic cup that was 5" tall and put that cup in a plastic shoe box container in case of over foaming or spillage. I laid the back seats down to be able to treat the trunk area as well. Since the car was small, I placed the water container in the backseat on the floorboard. I then added the tablets and swiftly closed the door. After an hour, I grabbed my respirator, and opened the backseat, removed the container and then started the car putting the vents on recirculate to be sure I got it all. I let it run for 20 mins. Once the timer was up, put the respirator back on, turned the car off, all the windows open and let the car air out. The outside temp was hovering around 60 with a nice gentle breeze. The car has a smell of a pool. It's not strong at all. Just a faint smell that is refreshing in a sense. I'm pretty sure after a few days, the smell will be non-existent. I am so incredibly pleased with the outcome and I won't hesitate to use in other applications. I'll even consider a smoker car again since I now feel I can get the smell completely out.

EDIT: The product is not faulty just because you didn’t use it correctly. If you used half a bag it makes absolutely no since to return to the area 20 minutes later. Also it’s gas. No closing a door won’t contain it. The package says let it work a few hours at minimum. Use it when you can leave the house for a few hours. I bought a house and the previous owner didn’t disclose they had a pet. Apparently it peed everywhere. The basement and an upstairs closet stank so bad. Especially when it gets hot. I cleaned, bleached, used enzymes primed the walls and nothing worked. The smell always came back. Anyway I found this followed the instructions and the smell is gone. Word to the wise. Use a mask unless you want to pass tf out. This stuff starts working instantly be ready to put it down and run. You will feel lightheaded if you breathe this stuff in. It’s strong af. I used it in the basement and could smell it all over my house when I came back a fews hour later. It smells like a swimming pool x100 Only issue it took forever to arrive after ordering. TLDR; This works

When we moved into the house so we're in it had a lot of cat urine and cigarette smoke smell. So before we moved anything in we used this to gas the house for 2 days. The house smelled like a swimming pool for a while but it was not that bad and it did take away majority of the cat and cigarette smoke smell out of the house we get little whiffs here after 2 years but it's not that bad.

These REALLY worked as advertised! Got the smoke smell out of a used car I bought after the first use. I've tried lots of other highly rated products but I still smelled the smoke. This got rid of it after 1 use!! Thank you!

First, READ the instructions and follow closely and smartly. I bought a camper and it had a musky/ moldy smell. It’s why I got it so cheap. I tried most all cleaning and deodorants made and finally found this product. It worked like a champ! It is dangerous to breathe so be very careful

My first use of this stuff landed me in the EMERGENCY ROOM, which i had to be taken to by AMBULANCE!! I had a mildewy smell in my bathroom and had bought this stuff, so decided to give it a try..BIG MISTAKE. The bathroom is about 220 SQ ft or so, so I used the suggested amount which was half a bag of pellets. What they don’t tell you first off, is that “half a bag” is probably enough to FULLY GAS A 5000 SQ FT house!! I dropped the pellets in the water and left the room as instructed and closed the door. When i opened the door 20 minutes later, I was completely over taken by what can only be described as TEAR GAS..The smell and potency of the gas these pellets create is BEYOND BELIEF..This has to be similar to WW1 mustard gas..Thats how bad it is.. Once I inhaled this without realizing how dangerous it was, I was off on a 40 MINUTE coughing fit, eyes watering, And coughing so much it started becoming PAINFUL. Once the bathroom door was opened also, this gas leaked into the entire house..So my 1300 sq ft house became completely consumed with this gas..I tried airing it out, but when i went back inside thinking it was clear - I wound up inhaling more inside the house - and then I finally got to the point that I could not breathe at all..It felt like someone was stepping on my chest.. I had to call 911, and be brought to the hospital in an ambulance. Once they gave me oxygen and an IV of water my breathing improved. But now today the next day i feel TERRIBLE, am still coughing, and feel like I have a cold or something..This stuff did a REAL NUMBER on my body. My house ALSO NOW SMELLS LIKE A POOL, which is NOT what I was going for..This is ABSURD!! BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THIS STUFF, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING IT INDOORS!! IT US IS TOO POWERFUL, THEY GIVE YOU THE COMPLETELY WRONG DOSAGE INFO - AND THEY DO NOT WARN PEOPLE HOW DANGEROUS OR POTENT THIS IS!! If you’re going into a war? And need something to use to gas the enemy? This would be good for that..Short of that this stuff should be BANNED!!! Totally RIDICULOUS - Amazon should PULL THIS PRODUCT!!
