FlexSolar 10W Portable Solar Chargers 5V USB Small Power Emergency Panels

Bought this device a few weeks back, during a brief September Sunny Spell. It worked great - happily driving a USB fan, and charging my devices while I was using them in the garden. BUT - just like when (as a teenager), I was given my first Golf Umbrella, and then it didn't rain for about 3 months (or so it seemed), the day after this solar cell arrived, and I gave it the first testing, the Sun went on its hollibobs, and we had weeks of grey skies, and drizzle/rain/worse. Hey, that's life. But the IMPORTANT bits for YOU: 1) It WORKS GREAT - if you have the sunshine! 2) It has USB-A Socket, and NOT some bespoke cable or connector, so it WILL work with ALL your stuff 3) Seems VERY tough, and a total Dead-Cert addition to my Holiday EDC And come next Summer, if the SUN returns - also end-of-Garden duty. Actually, I kinda just love it. Everything it should be, but nothing more. 5 stars with sparkly FX!

It’s a great bit of care you’re out camping or electric goes out. We have a blackout and be able to charge up your phone, be able to charge up, you know, your radio, whatever, whatever you need. It’s one of them bits of kit. Is that you don’t know you need it until you haven’t got it and it’s really well made. So I’m quite happy with that as well

Works well in full sun - charged a 20Ah / 20000mAh battery about 50% in around 5 hours, however it struggles to provide any meaningful power when its cloudy. Its lightweight and seems rugged enough, though note that USB connector is NOT waterproof, therefore the whole thing is effectively not waterproof. If using when there's a risk of some rain you'll need to work out how to protect the USB connector

Worked great for a trek across the alps in 2024. No need to plug in when we got to campsites as had charged phones all day!

This charged a 10000maH power bank after 5-6 hours in unobscured direct sunlight, so it does work. Very lightweight and feels quite robust.

Lightweight and simple to use. Works well in sunshine. Paired with a fast charging cable it can charge my 10000mAH powebank by about 35% per day even through glass. Which is enough to keep my phone, tablet and Bluetooth speaker topped up. A useful addition would have been some method of setting an angle of tilt.

Struggled in full sun to actually work very slow charge but as a back up ok keeps stopping charge shall have another play about with it

A mio avviso un prodotto che mantiene le promesse il peso reale è di 340g, un peso aggiuntivo più che accettabile per avere la possibilità di ricaricare su sentieri. Con sole leggermente velato e inclinazione ottimale del pannello sono riuscito a spremere 7,5W misurati con strumento, a livello del mare, sulla costa ligure. Mi aspetto che averne almeno altrettanti a 2-3000 metri di quota con sole pieno non sia difficile Con questa potenza in circa 5 ore e mezza si può caricare da zero un power bank da 10.000mAh su 3,7V di cella (cioè un power bank commercializzato normalmente da 10.000mAh) che consente almeno 3 ricariche complete del cellulare e dello smartwatch. Facendo un po' di attenzione con l'uso del cellulare, modalità aereo, 20-25 foto al gg. e consultazione mappe offline circa 20 volte al giorno l'autonomia diventa pressoché infinita anche in caso di 2-3 giorni di brutto tempo, senza aver mai bisogno di caricare dalle rete elettrica. Aggiornerò la recensione dopo un giro di 6 giorni sulle alpi completamente off-grid, vedremo. AGGIORNAMENTO 17/7/2023: Dopo averlo usato per circa 6 giorni sulle alpi posso confermare che il prodotto è molto valido, per un uso in montagna dove la temperatura ambiente è più fresca il pannello lavora perfettamente fornendo poco meno di 8W effettivi co continuità dal mattino al tardo pomeriggio nel periodo di metà luglio (circa dalle 10 alle 19) con cielo sereno o appena velato. Per un uso in città le cose si fanno più complicate in quanto le temperature di esercizio possono salire parecchio, non è chiaro se ci sia una protezione termica nel regolatore USB ma è successo più volte che smettesse di erogare energia quando il pannello raggiungeva temperature elevate e riprendesse a erogare se ventilato. Per una erogazione continua conviene evitare di appoggiarlo per terra ma fare in modo che l'aria possa circolare tutto intorno anche solo per convezione. Nel complesso buon prodotto, mi sento di consigliarlo.

Just what I was looking for to take backpacking, it works very well for a lightweight compact system. It charged my cell phone to 87% in less than a day, and my tiny flashlight in about two hours. Also if you were ever facing a prolonged power outage it would keep the flashlights running indefinitely.

De kwaliteit is goed, hij haalt misschien niet de 10 Watt maar kom daar redelijk in de buurt. Achter glas onder de juiste hoek kwam ik al tot 6,5 watt. Buiten in directe zonlicht op zo'n 7,5 watt. Deze waarde is al eerder aangehaald en klopt dan ook

It’s a low price panel that performs as advertised . I tried it out, it works great, no issues. It’s slow, but that’s expected given the wattage. When I’m camping I plug in my phone and leave it to charge. It works, the price was right, it feels solid, now my wife wants one too. Happy with it. Good purchase.

De momento lo puse al sol y me cargó el Apple Watch rápido, funciona bien. Me gustó mucho.
