This book is amazing for beginners, my son is in fourth grade but doesn't know spanish at all so I went with this book first. Just so can get familiar with the letters, words and numbers.

We love this workbook for my 2nd grader! We homeschool and wanted to start a foreign language this semester. This workbook has been great at teaching the basics and giving a variety of different styles of learning. The workbook does have multiple pages on a subject before moving on so you can spend several days on a topic and not feel like you are having to supplement with extra sheets in order for your child actually learn definitely recommend for the lower elementary grades.

Makes it easy to learn

Pros: high quality, great design, covers the basic topics, has pronunciation to go with each new word. Cons: Moves on fast with little practice at each topic. We compared it with the Complete Book of Spanish and chose that one as it seems to cover the same exact topics but with more activities for each step.

Used this over the summer with my daughter, loved it and she loved it! We have numbers, and days down moving onto the months and so on. It’s very easy to read and helps you with pronunciation of the word, I am not someone who has Spanish as a first language so I’m happy it helps me also so I can’t teach my daughter the most correct way to say it!

So I’m aged 50 plus…..only speak, or read English …..but this simple workbook is not only help me understand Spanish, but to actually spell the words I’m saying

This is my fourth Spanish book I have bought for my son. The first three were developed by people who do not understand children or how to teach languages. This book is excellent. Page layout is great. Easy to read. A great phonetic guide. Topics move forward in a logical way: letters, numbers, greetings, body parts, clothes, etc. etc. I can see later the book gets into conjugating verbs, but my son is not there yet. Highly recommended.
