Excellent value for an entry-level analog delay.
Nothing fancy, but works as expected and sounds good. The build is solid. Looks like some people have had problems, but mine works just fine. I don't notice a significant tone variation when active, but I tend to keep the level very low. The way I use it, I like to set it with a fairly long delay time and a medium number of repeats, but at very low level. Then I do the same with a second analog delay (the Biyang AD-10, which is also a good value), but with the second one I use just a tiny bit faster delay time (or slower) than the first pedal. The result is a sort of quiet, flanging reverb in the background that I keep on almost all the time. Sounds great. Verdict: a solid basic analog delay. Nothing fancy. Analog goodness. Nice size. Has true bypass. Useful controls. Good build quality. Great price.

Decent practice pedal
I don't have anything to compare to, but it got me a delay sound without breaking the bank. I use my more expensive MXR reverb for the reverb sound so I don't often need much delay so I didn't want to spend a lot right now for it. When I need to try to sound like David Gilmour (ha) I turn this on crank up the repeats and it sounds decent. It'll give you that slapback sound if that is what you are after. The repeated sound is passable (not amazing or perfect). Its a good practice pedal, which is all I need. Consider going more expensive if you use a lot of delay for live gigs. It'll get the point across though (and 99% of people couldn't tell the difference between cheap and expensive you know. I would hope that I could).

Nice Delay
As is my experience with all the Joyo pedals that I have tried, this one is amazing. Really nice old school analog delay, blends the signal well and doesn't color the sound. I have run this both in the loop or straight in the signal train through the front of my amplifier and it always sounds clear. Works well with all pickups and adds a lot of body to your sound with out having to try so hard. Components are good and solid, sturdy chassis and nice simple finish. Great product for a great price.

A bit more than you pay for, but...
Generally, I believe you get what you pay for. In the case of the Joyo JF-33 you get a little more. The price is impossible to beat for the sound. It's not a true analog delay, but it is an excellent digital recreation. It's not quite as warm and colorful as an actual analog delay, but if you want (controlable) delay feedback that mutates and sings forever and a widely variable delay time, it's got that. You can whip the delay time back and forth to divebomb the pitch of the feedback repeats or turn it the other way and send it screaming to the heavens. It's also in a sturdy metal case, which I did not expect. The bad: -It's very noisy. It introduces a lot of hum into your signal chain when activated, even before you play through it. -It's unusable with batteries. You can technically power it off batteries, but none of the features work properly, or they only do for a couple minutes before everything just gets short and crunchy in a bad way. I don't know if this is a defect or if it just devours batteries at an absurd rate. Definitely plan on using AC power if you get this pedal. -Plastic washer on foot switch. This hasn't broken yet, but from experience with every other pedal with a plastic washer on the switch, it's only a matter of time before you stomp the button into the enclosure. It's a very cheap and easy fix, but I recommend replacing this ASAP. All in all though, it's more (simulated)analog delay than you'll find for the price anywhere else.

Really nice...my first one was a dud but I'm very happy now!
The sound and versatility are great. Very quiet signal path and nice tone. I think with these things the circuit designs are excellent but often the quality control is lacking. I got a dud switch that started to stick after 2 days. Note that I have been using the Joyo Tube Screamer copy for a year now with perfect results. I returned to Amazon and ordered another. I think with Behringer, Joyo, Pyle etc...you are getting excellent design/features and maybe second-tier components. I am ok with that. I've found that if you get a good one they last. Regardless, I can go through 4 of these for the price of one Boss and really I'm not losing any sound quality. Just make sure and kick the tires well during the warranty period. Update 12/28/16 - I have had the replacement unit for a long time now and I wanted to update. I was playing on this a few moments ago and really appreciate this pedal now. The controls are great and big enough to tweak with a foot easily. The sound is fantastic without the tone alteration that another poster noted. I play this trough an old vibro champ and whether I'm using it to get a rockabilly bark or a clean blues delay it sounds positively vintage. Since my replacement process was painless and the product is a HUGE bargain for the price I'm changign my rating all the way from a 3 to a 5. Pick this up from Amazon without fear...

If it doesn't work right, send it back.
The pedal didn't come with a patch cable though it was advertised as accompanying the pedal with purchase. Also, the pedal would not disengage. The bypass button did not work. I thought it was a great analog sound, but I have no use for it being on all the time. I ended up taking it apart to see if I could fix the problem with the bypass, but no luck. I should've just sent it back, but I felt ridiculous doing that for such a cheap pedal. If the button would've worked, it would've been a good piece of equipment.

Great sounding digital emulation of an analog delay pedal. Can easily produce slap back tones to amazing sonically filling soundscapes. It can even self oscillate but it's not as smooth as some of the more expensive pedals. However, for the price it is perfect for the working musician.

Not a huge fan of delay, but really nice sounding repeats, decent amount of delay time and can do infinite feedbacking repeats if you crank it.
