Question 1

How do I reset the unit if the display is flashing?

Accepted Answer

A flashing display indicates that the unit has been overloaded (the spur has a maximum load of 3kw or 3000w). The unit contains a safety device which protects it from excessive loads. When the safety device is triggered, the display will flash, and the unit will enter ‘safe’ mode.
To reset the unit, simply remove the power from the unit for a minimum of 30 mins. Then, reconnect the power and insert a pointed instrument into the reset button on the front of the unit (for approx. 10 seconds) before resetting the time and programmes.

How does the chosry fused spur timer switch compare with other brands?

Accepted Answer

We believe that the following are some of the unique characteristics of the CHOSRY Fused Spur Timer Switch:

(2) extra-long screws for use with a deeper back box (in addition to standard length screws)
(3) option to set up to 28 different programmes (4 per day for 7 days)
(4) automatic summer/winter time change-over
(5) integrated back-up battery which retains programmes in the event of power failure
(6) cheapest on Amazon
(7) next day free delivery with Prime
(8) UK-based Customer Care team available 6 days a week

Question 3

Do you sell second hand items?

Accepted Answer

No. We have never, and would never, sell used or second hand items on Amazon.
If a customer returns an order, Amazon assesses its condition. If the item is unused/unopened, it is returned to the inventory pool for sale. If the item has been opened/used/damaged, it is disposed of.
We understand that, on very rare occasions, items have been returned to the inventory pool when they should have been disposed of. While this should never happen, it is unfortunately entirely out of our control and we can only apologise for this oversight.

Question 4

I purchased this but it wont allow me to set a timer to switch on at 18:00 and switch off at 02:00am the following day? Please advise.

Accepted Answer

The programme schedule works from midnight to midnight. If you want to set a programme to run across midnight, you need to set one programme to end at 2359 and the next programme to start at 0000.
