This has been a lifesaver for me, so much so, I've bought 2 more since my initial purchase. Very user friendly. Doesn't get hot. It's very compact so you can easily take place to place. I have it connected to the back of my computer and anytime I need to use something on my computer that uses USB, like a flashdrive I just plug it in here. It eliminates so many things needing to be plugged in the back of my computer. I use one on my desktop and my laptop then keep one on me. The design is excellent. Connects perfectly and functions as it should. After plugged in, it gives a power supply to anything using usb that's plugged into it. Definitely worth the price!!

Works good we use to power microphones

Running my gaming mouse at 8000hz polling rate, keyboard, and sometimes a Canon LIDE scanner which gets powered solely through this usb hub with no issues. I was very pleasantly surprised by this. Slim enough to hide away easily and stick under the desk with double sided tape. Only complaint is it takes 5-10 seconds for the system to recognize peripherals connected through this hub, so the computer always turns on saying "no keyboard detected" in the initial boot screen. But that's hardly a problem - if any system issues (which is rare) just need to connect the keyboard directly to the system.
