Works well, hope it lasts
I ordered two of these for reasons I don't remember. I opened both immediately and charge some batteries. I wanted to ensure they worked. I have two lights that use 18650 batteries. These are Liion batteries. These multi-size chargers have a sliding bar at one end so they can take various batteries. I find that if you pull them back with your fingers and insert the battery, they work better than trying to push them back with the battery. They will slide more easily and you are less likely to damage them. This charger was easy to connect the battery. Some chargers are hard to get good connections. I did not have any problems with this unit. They immediately measure the battery voltage which determines the battery type. Note that if you are charging LiFe batteries, you have to press a button to set that type. The voltage tells the charger the battery type because the maximum voltage for NiMh and NiCd battery maximum voltage is less than the minimum for Liion. If the battery is excessively discharged, It may start as a NiMh or NiCd battery type. The charger defaults to 500mA charge rate and you can press the button to select 1A. I left the current at 500mA. Charging slower is good unless you are in a hurry. The display alternates between the voltage and the current during the charge and a timer shows how long the battery has been charging. A display of a battery with bars shows the state of charge. All the batteries charged as expected. They were at different charge levels and they all charged correctly. The charger stopped the charge cycle when the battery was full. The display was easy to read and the information was also easy to understand for me anyway. I charge a lot of batteries and use a number of different chargers so I am very familiar with them. This look like they work OK and I hope they last. I only used these on AC power.

Fantastic Charger
This little thing rocks. It has great versatility in charging CR123's up to anything that will fit within 2.75". It is nice to have the option of selecting 500mAh or 1A depending on what you are charging and how fast you need it to finish. I've gone through many chargers similar to this one made by a variety of manufacturers, but honestly the Eastshine version is my favorite by far. It's quick and easy to use, the UI is intuitive, and it doesn't overwhelm you with dozens of options that you will never use. I like the blue display, I love the fact that its not in use with no battery, the unit goes in to sleep mode with zero external lights. Slightly off topic, but I abhor electronics that pump out 500 Lumen of meaningless multi-color LEDs when its OFF and doing nothing besides pulsing out blinding light. I can only speak for myself, but when I switch the lights out, I don't need any room in my house to look like an <explative> Rave due to all the gadgets in my house pumping out stupidly bright lights, alerting to everyone that they have indeed been turned off. This charger doesn't do that at all. The springs that hold the batteries in place are strong, and you could mount this on your ceiling if you wanted too. But with power, comes responsibility, because if you don't have a firm purchase on a battery you are loading, and your fingers slip, it will launch that bad boy across the room. I've only had it for a few months now, but its had relatively heavy use and there are no signs of any wear, or issues that I can identify that may cause issues in the future. Spot checking with a Multi-Meter confirms that the displayed voltages have all been correct. One last standout feature to the Eastshine S2 is that it allows you to charge just one battery at a time. Every other charger I have, and have had, required both charging-bays to be in use for the charger to work. It seems like a minor issue, but it is extremely frustrating when you have to dig out a charged battery that's already in use just to charge the other.

Quality, versatile charger truly does it all!
I must admit I was skeptical when seeing that this charger could both automatically detect the battery size and type I had, charge it to capacity and then shut off. All that AND I could use it in the car? An eyebrow was certainly raised, but for the price I couldn't help but find out. I'm happy to report that this little station does indeed work as advertised. I put two 18350 Li-Ion batteries into the stations. It quickly detected their size and power requirements and showed me their current charge level before beginning to juice them up. Once they reached full power, the charger stopped. While I haven't tested the car charger, I have no reason to believe it won't provide power as well. I was looking for a charger that could charge batteries in the car for vaporizer use (perfect for road trips!) that was inexpensive, reliable and featured an auto-shutoff. I certainly found it, and I couldn't be happier!

Good for my LiFePo4 26650 Batteries
Unfortunately, the first unit died after a dozen charges (right channel weak) but the replacement is looking very good so far, charging the next shipment without any problems. 500k 700, and 1,000mA charging rates allow old batteries to be slowly charged and new batteries to be very quickly charged. The display is bright and intuitive, automatically rotating between showing the battery voltage, charging rate, and time of charge. Nice little unit, and it comes with mobile charge cable, too. Good value!

CHARGES FAST
I bought this back in Jun 2021 and have used it several times. I have a couple of head lamps that use 18650 batteries. I take them both bowhunting sometimes for 2 weeks at a time (no electric power out in the boonies), and so I also charge up several spares just before I leave so they'll be ready to swap our when a battery runs out of juice. This charger has two ma settings (500 & 1000). I use the 1000 ma setting. The smart charger is nice because I can just walk away and do other stuff and come back later. It shuts itself off (indicator shows 0 ma) when the batteries are fully charged. It took less than 30 min to fully charge 2 brand new uncharged batteries right out of the box. I take the charger hunting with me because it also comes with a 12v charging adaptor, just in case. I haven't needed to use it though, but I suspect it takes longer to charge batteries. I'm very satisfied with it and would definitely recommend,.

Great charger
I now own 2 of these. First one still in use and works great. Bought a second one as I have a lot of 26650 batteries. Great product!

Can be used with gumstick batteries
I bought this specifically to charge rechargeable batteries meant for an old Sony Walkman from the 90's. Specifically, it was a HQRP battery that's compatible with devices taking Sony's NC-6WM battery which I don't believe is made anymore. Even though the listing says it takes cylindrical batteries and stretches up the C size, it looks like this can stretch to fit D sized batteries and it will hold and charge a gumstick battery like the NC-6WM just fine. The only thing to look out for is that the original batteries were supposed to be charged at 100ma but this charger only does 500ma or, if you turn on fast charging, 1000ma. Newer NiMh batteries should be able to take the the higher milliamperage just fine like the ones I got from HQRP here on Amazon but even if it isn't supposed to be charged at 500ma the only negative result would be that you get fewer charging cycles out of the battery which isn't that big of a deal considering you can get replacement batteries pretty easily and newer NiMh batteries are all made to handle the power coming from these new universal chargers. The car adapter is nice but not useful for me. The display is super helpful for seeing how much power is going into the battery, what the power output of the battery actually is, how much time the battery has been charging and it'll show you clearly when the battery is charged and how full the battery is. It's a simple, good overall universal charger. The charger will also automatically shut off if your battery takes more than 8 hours to charge which may be a good thing and the safety features all seem to work.
