Stain went on great and looks great.

This product has an even finish when applied you just can’t screw it up. Can use a brush pump up sprayer roller or even a paint sprayer I’ve used all of them and all came out perfect with no problems. Goof proof for sure ! Dries in warm weather within 24 hrs

I'm new to the whole wood stain world. Did not know what to expect. Just by reading other reviews. I had 2 new cedar decks built on my house in WA state. I used this product recommended by the Cedar retailer. It mixed very easily. Brushed on like a dream. The brush cleaned almost effortlessly. Decks had a more-beautiful-than-expected look for a couple days until completely dried. Then a nice even natural look after that. I have power-washed it a few times and maintain with a blower or broom. I am completely happy so far. I expect to have to re-stain it at least every other year - but all I'll have to do to prep is a wood cleaner and power wash. Also I might add that I ran out about 1/2 way thru the back deck - had to buy another gallon and it blended perfectly even though applied several days apart. The smoothness of your wood makes a lot of difference on how much you need to use. I did a 6 x 12 and a 12 x 26 deck with just 2 gallons. The rough wood apron around the perimeter, however, really sucked up the stuff. I was concerned with the small deck that rain was eminent as I was brushing the stuff on. The deck is covered - so I didn't worry too much. Got a little wet around the edges - but didn't harm the overall drying process. Then the back larger deck is uncovered and lots of spring-time stuff from my huge Doug Fir trees was falling intermitently; But didn't effect the drying process either. I really loved this stuff and the whole process. (I'm sorta unambitious - and if a project looks too hard . . . I usually try to find someone else to do it.) This definitely did not fall in that category.

Beautiful sheer color. Oil soaks in deep. Becomes waterproof within 15 minutes. Brush over does not cause uneven streaks. I used 3 gallons on my dad's deck and it is absolutely beautiful. Will be doing my own deck with this product in the spring! Highly recommend. We powerwashed, waited a couple of days to allow deep wood dry; then we used the color Pecan, applied with a flat staining sponge that attaches to a pole for easy glide on surface. Also used a 2" brush for cracks and crevices. You can see in the picture the water just beads up and cannot penetrate the wood. My dad is so happy! Total cost was less than $200 for the entire project.

I really love the color, and the easy of application. I had some spots that i really though were over saturated, but the next day the whole deck looks uniform. My only concern is that the deck is now slightly slipper, after about a week. I don't know if this will wear off or be permanent. The deck will be dangerous when wet. hopefully this isn't a permanent thing. Overall still happy with it, excellent price and reviews when comparing to stuff purchased locally.
