Handles became loose on rivets

I already own this particular knife and could not pass up 2 more of these for the price. This is the only knife I use it the kitchen, carve birds, slice meats, veggies, cheese.. everything. I will easily find a use for 2 more of these. It fits comfortably in the hand and gives 100% control for me.

My fav knives since 2009, i was so gappy i found them on amazon. The best cheese knife i really missed.

Many years ago, we were gifted a full set of Showtime knives -- 30+, I believe. With time, I narrowed it down to a handful of knives I was actually using, bought myself a universal knife block (incidentally, right here on Amazon, and I still love it very much), and "retired" most of the big set. The cheese knife was one of those I kept on hand. It is absolutely wonderful. Soft cheese, hard cheese, anything in between -- it does the job beautifully, providing a clean cut every time. I'm a big lover of cheese and easily have about a dozen different kinds on hand at any given moment, and this knife is always up for the job. I frequently have some cheese with my coffee in the morning, or serve a cheese board as a part of lunch or dinner with friends. While for the actual cheese board I have a good variety of smaller serving cheese knives, I always use this knife for the prep (or when I just slice a few slices for myself). Normally, I'd wash and dry it in between using it on different kinds of cheese, which can be a bit of a bother, especially when I'm in a hurry when I have unexpected guests. Imagine my excitement when I discovered it was now available on Amazon -- a set of two, no less, and the seller offers a special with a 49% discount (as of the writing of this review, the 49% off special is still in place, so you get two of these knives for just $5.60 or so!). Needless to say, I jumped on it right away. The new knives are just as fabulous as the one I have from the old set, and I've already had a few occasions when instead of having to wash/dry one knife in between different cheeses, I just used different knives for different kinds of cheese. Obviously, I ultimately have to wash all of them, but it's super convenient to have more than one on hand. Initially, I thought I might give one away to a friend, but, um, I'm keeping all three, sorry. It's really that good.

These are GREAT! Super sharp and definitely made well. I've used these not only for cheese, but many other things like vegetables and fruits. Heavy quality and a sturdy handle. They arrived well protected and a sleeve over the blade, which I kept to keep them covered while in the draw. I highly recommend these, and for the price, you can't beat it!
