Why does the cap (bottom piece) have a hole at the bottom? Does something attach to it?

What attachments are needed to make this saber light up?

It will fit on the battery compartment for any of the light up sabers in the same build system. I tested with Darth Maul’s saber and it worked fine.

It's a lightsaber

Purchased as a gift. Recipient loved it. As to how long it will last when she is whacking her brother with it?? Time will tell!! Appears relatively sturdy so far.

Does not light up

This does not light up. Very disappointing as was a main present on Christmas morning. Plenty of light sabres that are cheaper light up. Waste of money. This should be explicit in the description.
