Paracord in the South African army back in the 1980’s was like gold dust. Extremely hard to get and a most valuable commodity when we did. We were extremely inventive in its application as survival aid. I’m poor, ex military and disabled which means I need to be extremely resourceful to survive. Since I wasn’t provided with a simple walking aid I made my own with Paracord and a Dutch hoe. Both items bought and wonderfully supplied by Amazon. The value, strength, and versatility of Paracord is unsurpassed. It’s turned a simple Dutch hoe into my bespoke walking staff. When my hand fails to support me due to my neuropathy the Paracord easily supports my full body weight and saves me from injury.

Great paracord

This paracord rope is a great value for as much as you get. It’s exactly what I wanted and I use it a lot for kayaking and fishing, but it would work great for all kinds of uses. It’s very sturdy and holds up well, with no signs of dry rot. I’m in the south and that’s always a big concern and so far it hasn’t been an issue. It’s easy to make different knots and they hold well, making it perfect for all kinds of projects.

Damaged the end was buried. No way to unwind. String in good shape though. Big headache.

Not all cords are created equal. You well definitely feel and see the difference with this brand. More rigid and durable and fraying isn't near what it is with other brands. I don't recommend mixing this cord with other types or brands for crafts or outdoor use. I won't choose any other brand than this. More expensive but you get what you pay for.

I am not happy with this purchase. I was running out of the brown paracord that I had and the company that I normally purchase from was out of stock. I purchased this product as I saw the reviews were good. I make items to sell as they are ordered and did not need to use any of the newly purchased brown Paracord for a little while. When I finally needed to use the Paracord o did not like the quality at all. The external sheath doesn’t seem to fit properly and I have removed about a foot, maybe more, of excess. Teceum will not allow returns beings I did not realize this until after 30 days (because I did not need to use this Paracord in that time frame). I wish I would have realized this earlier. I would love to return this product, I will even pay to ship it back if I get my purchase price refunded.
