This little pedometer is easy, cheap, and reliable. What more could you ask for?

If all you want to do is track steps, this is the one. When I walk a mile, it tracks about 2,000 steps which is what the internet says is accurate. I love that you can clip it anywhere on your person, put it on a lanyard or in your pocket, or hold it in your hand. Easy reset. One thing instructions did not mention...if the display goes black just tap on the reset button and it comes back. Tap and hold to reset to zero. One downside. My sister tried it with a walker and it did not track her steps while using the walker. This is true of her fancier tracker as well. Technology is not there yet I guess. Comes with clip, lanyard, battery.

I actually purchase this product a year or more ago and worked perfectly fine however it somehow fell off in the garage and I ran over it. So I went ahead and purchased the exact same model however this one does NOT work. Almost daily, it randomly resets back to zero so I cannot accurately count my steps. For example I may be at 2400 steps and then the next time I look and it’s at 300 steps. At first I thought maybe I just touched it near the reset button and accidentally reset but it happens all the time so it’s absolutely a defect. Unfortunately I realized it was a defect too late and the return window is closed. Save your money and try a different pedometer that works. No point in having a step counter that constantly rests and erases your step count.

Standby Mode is when the battery door is open completely disconnecting the battery and even though the internet pictures and my user manual shows that the battery door can be slid open with the thumb, mine can not (see photos). I'm going to have to find a very small screwdriver to replace the battery and I really wanted that feature so I'm giving this review one less star. Other than that, I think the pedometer is a pretty good unit. The auto sleep mode does reduce battery drain but not 100% since it needs to look from time to time at both the 3D sensor and the reset button decide to wake up. Testing my steps in the house gave 100% accuracy for short linear walks with the clip attached to many different positions on my belt. The 3D sensor sees consistent steps no matter how you use it (Left or Right hip, Front Left or Right leg or in between front & hip positions were tested). I found somewhat lower display steps when my walk had a bunch of turns. Why is that you ask? I suspect it is that ten count filter. If turning corners then those particular steps would look different and might not be counted. Not a problem for normal walks but if you turn a corner on a city block you might lose a count or two. I don't think that's a big deal.

Small and easy to clip on my clothes. Works well. Do not need an expensive step counter this one works great.

I really like how compact and simple this pedometer is and that I don't have to fool with any kind of apps or automatic resets. It comes with an included battery which won't be too hard to get a replacement for once it runs out. I'm a little bit concerned about its accuracy. When I first got it I thought it was under-counting my steps, but now after a very busy day, I think it might be over-counting my steps. The first two days that I wore it I also had my phone in my pocket and Google Fit running, which also has a step tracker, and I found the clip-on pedometer to be pretty accurate when clipped to my neckline or bra strap or waistband. But today I had it clipped to the bottom of my shirt and I feel like the jostling from my leg walking was counting extra steps that I didn't take. That is not a problem with the tracker itself, that's operator error. Even such a simple tool has a bit of a learning curve.

Had this for about a year, now, and it gets used EVERYDAY. It still works and is pretty accurate. No complaints, here!

Lightweight and easy to use. I lost my first one while I was out on a walk and bought another. I've noticed that the count can be off from time to time, for instance I was in the bathroom and saw my steps at 11,351. I finished, counted 23 steps to fill my water in the kitchen but it registered 42 steps. Other times I'll count the 23 steps and it will accurately track it.

I absolutely love this pedometer. I tested against my friend's "smart" wearables and it's pretty accurate. No two devices are going to be perfect. I took note of reviews mentioning the clip wasn't great, and I agree - it's not. But I just put the pedometer in my pocket, and it's no problem at all. Plus you can use the neck strap if you want. The display is large and easy to read. The reset button is also simple. Just hold it down for a few seconds, and your steps will be reset to 0 to start a new day. Battery life? So far so good. Who knows for sure. I've used it outdoors in a Canadian winter (protected in a pocket), and it seems to be lasting. I'm tired of smart applications tracking your everything everywhere. If you are too, this pedometer will be great for you.
