excellent choice for homeowners looking to monitor their fridge and freezer temperatures. If I still owned a restaurant, I would definitely be using them there as well. They are very accurate when it comes to temperature, great durability, easy to install, great value for the money, easy to set up. these units are working well for us!

This has been a life saver multiple times. It has alerted me when our basement refrigerator door was left open and again when the compressor went out on another freezer. The nice thing is you can set specific temperature alerts that allow you watch it closely for a problem. And you can see a graph of the temperatures so you can spot the anomaly and exactly when the problem occurs. If you have some older units, little kids who sometimes leave the door open, or worry about power outages, or all 3, this is the thing to get.

I have bee hives. The hives need to stay around 95 degrees F for the new baby bees to be bred and bees will heat the hives themselves by vibrating. While they are busy keeping the hive warm, they are not out collecting and creating honey. To help them I put grow matts in the bottom of the hive and set them to 100 degrees. I had no way of knowing what the real temperature in the hive is until I found these ST-4 remote temperature probes. I put one in the bottom where the grow matt is and one in the top of each hive to see how much heat is rising in the hive. These work great and I don't have to leave the house to gather data. The app allows you to download the data in CSV format for plotting on the computer. Customer Service (Stephanie) has been very responsive. I placed 2 orders. One for the Hub and 2 remote temp sensors. After I made sure it worked for my application I ordered 2 more sensors. Of the 4 that came, one, didn't connect to the hub. Emailing the company, they said they will send out another unit from Amazon and it arrived in a couple of days. Now all 4 are connected to the hub and gathering data. The company makes other sensors that I will also be looking into since these worked so well.

Very cool product that allows you to remotely monitor anything that is tempature controlled. Works great indoors but not so much outdoors. Any moisture and they quit working. Had a few units quit working and talking to the base unit too thatbwere indoor use. I would give it a 5 out of 10. If they make the units more robust these would rock! The set up was easy enough but took a few times to get them paired with base station.
