Treat Pouch 2.0

I recently purchased the Mighty Paw Dog Treat Pouch for training my St. Bernard, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the quality and design. The pouch is incredibly easy to use and conveniently attaches to my waistband, allowing me to keep my hands free while training. The wide opening makes it simple to grab treats quickly, which is essential when you’re working with a pup as big and enthusiastic as my St. Bernard. The adjustable strap and sturdy design mean it stays securely in place without bouncing around, which has made our training sessions much more focused and enjoyable. What I truly love about the Mighty Paw Treat Pouch is its thoughtful design. There’s plenty of room for a variety of treats, and the inner lining is easy to clean—perfect for any accidental spills! Plus, the additional pocket for my phone or keys is a handy touch that makes it even more functional. Training my St. Bernard has been a more positive experience thanks to this pouch. The ability to reward him quickly for good behavior has made a noticeable difference in his responsiveness. He’s learning commands faster, and our bonding time has grown tremendously. This is my third, and hopefully my last treat pouch. The first one I lost on the second day because it had a crappy plastic clip and nothing else to secure it, so it just fell off somewhere. So I tried another one, which was advertised as having belt straps on the back, but instead came with a crappy plastic clip. Because this one also had a carabiner, I managed not to lose it, but the plastic clip would either come off the pocket I had attached it to, or it would come off the treat pouch itself. After a few months I eventually lost the plastic clip and it still worked with the carabiner, but dangling instead of attached. At that point, I'd had enough. Finally, I found this product! It has a proper large metal clip that will not come off the pouch and stays attached to whatever you put it on. It also has adjustable straps that can be used like a belt around the waist, or like a bag strap across the body. AND it has belt straps on the back too, so there are three different ways to secure this pouch, and all of them work. In addition, this is a well-made pouch with fabric that seems like it will be very durable and easy to clean. It has a poop bag dispenser, a mesh pocket, plus another pocket in addition to the main treat pouch, so you can use it to carry keys/phone on your walks. The magnets on the treat pouch actually work and will keep it closed, unlike that first pouch I got that was supposed to do that but left big gaps. Now that I know Mighty Paw makes quality products, I will look for them again if I'm looking for more dog accessories.

This is a great dog training bag! I can put my puppy’s entire lunch portion of kibble in this bag and train with it, and it would hold even more. It has a nice long strap which allows me to wear it crossbody. The material is thick well constructed. The magnetic closure is strong enough to stay closed yet I can still get into it with one hand. That’s important if you are bending over to give your small puppy a treat. You don’t want kibble spilling out everywhere. You’ll want to be able to get into it with one had because you will have your puppy on the leash with the other hand. It has clips on the back if you want to wear it on your waist and the strap will convert down to go around the waist. Lastly it holds a roll of poop bags which is super convenient and has room on the front of some miscellaneous items. I slide my iPhone 15 Pro Max in that pocket. It’s not completely seated but it’s deep enough that the phone stays put. I can’t find anything wrong with this bag, no fatal flaws. I highly recommend!

PROS: -I love the size of this bag and the various compartments. The main pocket is large enough to hold kibble as well as a variety of high and low value treats inside. I like to use the zippered pocket for my dog’s gentle leader and the mesh pocket for my dog’s clicker. -I love the material of this bag. It is a good quality bag. I’ve been using it for 5 months and it still looks brand new. It does not wear or tear easily, and it dries quickly if it gets wet. -I LOVE the fact that this bag has a poop bag holder. Enough said! CONS: -I wish the strap was more adjustable. This bag has a very large strap. It will not fit around your waist if you are smaller/skinnier person. I am a US size 4, and I had to tie 2 large knots in the strap so it would fit around my waist. -The magnetic closure is ANNOYING. To be fair, most dog bags on the market have a magnetic closure. But, when you are leash training your dog, you need to pull treats quickly. The magnetic closure makes it difficult to pull treats out quickly, especially with one hand, because my other hand is holding my dog’s leash. Overall, I think this is one of the best dog bags on the market. Could be better, but I still highly recommend it! 4.5/5 stars.

It's a really handy treat pouch. It holds please of treat. The plastic baggies are a good idea for picking up poop on walks. Highly Recommended 👍🏻

Great dog training pouch! Easy to use, the magnetic closers work great, and it's pretty easy to clean. The size of the top opening is about right fir easy access when working it one handed, and the included shoulder strap adds to that ease.

This is such a big step up from the usual treat pouches. The sling-style design makes a massive difference, it stays in place and doesn’t slip around while walking or training, which was a constant annoyance with my previous one. It also holds a surprisingly large amount of food, which means I can go on longer walks or training sessions without worrying about running out. That alone has made it much more convenient day-to-day. The extra compartments are really well thought out too. I can separate high-value treats, and there’s space for essentials like keys, phone, and even hand gel. It basically replaces the need to carry an extra bag. The included roll of poop bags is a nice bonus as well.

Great product but advert did say one can carry a Cell Phone, this is impossible as the space allowed makes it very difficult as the top are above the zip is too tight

I had my doubts about the magnetic closure, but I've owned two different drawstrings close type, and this is far superior (for my needs). Super easy to access treats, and stiff enough that it remains open, clipped at my waist, unless I bend over in which it auto snaps shuts. This means that even with my winter gloves on, it remains convenient and easily accessible. The amount of pockets work for me, holding the bags, clicker, and the front zipper holding the highest value jerky treats. All in all this is my favourite treat bag to go for walks, and for training on walks.

Very happy with this bag - was recommended to buy a bag for walking the dogs to help with training our puppy. It seems good quality and stays opened and has sufficient space for phone and bag of treats and keys etc..
