It’s hard for me to judge shampoo since my hair does what my hair is supposed to do, i.e., it’s not dry or oily, it’s not too straight or curly, I don’t even know what split ends are other than I have been told I don’t have them by my barber. I don’t have dandruff and I don’t break out from fragrances (but my wife does). What I look for in a shampoo is something that foams up nicely, feels good on my scalp, that leaves my hair feeling clean, and, honestly, one that smells good. All of those items mentioned above get high ratings, and I weigh the fragrance at about 50% of those four determinants. And, after reading the label (Vinegar, spirulina, etc.) I was not expecting much but, WOW, this is just about the best smelling shampoo I have used in many years! It has a similar profile to a body wash I got from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Natures-Beauty-Lavender-Chamomile-Coconut/dp/B09422TDSM) with some floral and citrus notes, in a subtle, nicely blended manner although by reading the label you’d think they were totally different. Is 8 ounces of a really nice smelling (in my opinion) shampoo worth $31? For me it is, others may think it’s way too high and others may not even like the fragrance. The body wash I mentioned is about $19 for two 12 ounce bottles. Some think that that’s a lot. I enjoy my shower every morning and night, and I find that these both make me feel great because I enjoy the fragrance, plus they do their job. I leave it to you. If you think that spending that much money on shampoo or soap is silly, well I can’t disagree. But if you enjoy them, if they benefit you, and if spending that type of money on frivolities will not change your lifestyle, I recommend this and suggest you try it. Great shampoo. I have colourful hair and oily roots but wanted to not dry out my hair and this gives me longer before I need to wash It but without drying out. I love it!

Overall I like this shampoo and do feel like it is a great option for someone with fine hair like I do. A little more about my hair type: it is very long fine hair but a lot of it and I do not color my hair and rarely use heat styling tools. My hair is somewhere between oily and normal. I think the quality of the shampoo is great. It is lightweight and cleans my hair very well while being nourishing so it does not remove too much natural oils. The only thing I did not love is the consistency of the shampoo. It isn't terrible but defiantly not my preferred consistency. It very gel-y and globs out making it easy to slide off your hand in a glob. I have to apply product a little at a time to lather it up and disperse through hair in sections. If you just put it right on your hair without slowly working the product in I feel like it doesn't spread well through my hair.
