Clear Care Plus with Hydraglyde Starter Kit by Alcon

My mom was in a bad car accident her eye exploded from impact. She is the first surgery ever to stitch an eye back together. Anyways she has a $4,000.00 contact designed for that eye this cleaning solution wirks perfect. Her eye specialist was saying there was to much protien build up on the contact from the eye and this solution is tuff enough to remove it but sensitive enough for her eye.

Very easy to use and the product works well. Price is higher than your traditional solution, but cleans lenses thoroughly.

Performs as expected. Lasts a long time. Good buy for the money.

Product works and is as I expected. The only room for improvement is to adjust the structural design (just slightly) for easier opening/closing of the flaps that hold the contact lenses. All else is good.

The quality of the item was fine. For the price, however, it I expected this to be full size bottle. My fault for not reading the description properly. Good item but too expensive.

I use this cleaner every night due to a large amount of protein build up on lens even when I use regular cleaner. I cannot be with out it!

I had a very scary reaction the the Clear Care with HydraGlyde.I've been using the original formula of Clear Care since 2011. I originally switched to this formula because I having issues and sensitivity to another brands solution. Recently I tired the new version with HydraGlyde because the store I went to was not carrying the original formula. I had and extreme reaction the first (and subsequent times) I used the product. The first day I wore my lenses they were fine. After storing them for the recommended time in the HydraGlyde formula I experienced a cloud like film. Initially I just thought my vision was a little blurry but within a half hour my visibility was the equivalent of being in a smoke filled room. In addition to that when I was driving at night there were extreme rainbow halos around any light source or reflective surface. Unfortunately I was not able to take them out right away and had to wait several hours. When I did finally remove the contacts stored in HydraGlyde the haziness persisted. I was scared that I would wake up the next morning and my eyesight would still be affected. Thankfully it was not. I did give the solution a couple more trys just to run a little self experiment. Each time was just as bad even when trying it with ta different set of lenses. When I returned to the original formula and had absolutely no issues. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL with the product. My eye doctor mentioned that the push is to start storing all their contacts in an equivalent HydraGlyde solution when packaged for consumers. I also worry that the original formula will be phased out of stores and only HydraGlyde will be offered. Alcon Laboratories, please, please do not do this. Many of us use your product specifically because additives have caused us issues in the past. DO NOT BUY, stick with the original Clear Care.
