What is the max heat it can stand? The picture shows 480F whilst the text description suggests 450F...?

Hi we’ve used it in our oven at 250 degrees Celsius with no problems that is 482 degrees Fahrenheit that was only one time but we don’t usually go over 220 degrees Celsius 428 degrees Fahrenheit. So not sure how they will perform over continuous high heats. But we have no complaints so far. Hope this helps.

Do these go into cookie sheet pans or directly onto the oven racks?

I turn a roasting pan upside down and put mat on top. Unfortunately I found these mats too large for my oven. I had to cut off about an inch both sides.
