This 12 point thin wall socket was definitely a bargin. Its finish is clean and looks and feels every bit of quality of a major brand tool like Snap-On fit and function worked excellent and came back off the spark plugs after they were installed many other ive used stay on the plug after tightening, this tool shipped quickly i was happy all around

The mechanism to hold the plug inside is a kind of metal spring/clip that easily come off but can be re-inserted with a small plier. I wished I bought a magnetic one instead. Other than that, it worked perfectly on my BMW 430i

The husband is a heavy duty mechanic...used it on my Mini Cooper...he wasn't impressed with it. The socket didn't grab well & the spark plug kept falling out. Thankfully there was only 4 to change.

Exactly what I needed to change the plugs on my BMW. Tried buying 3 others that were sold as "thin wall" but definitely were not different than regular sockets. This one worked perfect.
