My Hyundai key lost its buttons. Didn’t even consider asking for the undoubtedly ludicrous price from a dealership. I asked on the high street and got told £50. Bought this for a tenth of that price. Watched a video on YouTube and saved myself 45 quid. Yes, it’s a little fiddly, but totally doable by anyone. Worked no problem once all put back together. Good quality. Great buy.

Easy to change over the key and circuit board BUT the board doesn't contain the immobiliser chip. It's that unobtrusive white plastic thing in the corner and your car won't start without it. Took me most of the day to discover this, then had to go through two wheelie bins to retrieve the old key bits. Probably cheaper to get it done than to do it yourself.

If you have the fob with the silver surround, this is not the one for you, the internals are different.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I’ve bought two of these in the past year. The first one did not work because I did not transfer the immobiliser chip from the old remote to the new one. (my fault no issue with the product) I was not aware and had to get a garage to fix this. Now aware I bought another and transferred the “hidden” chip. I say it’s hidden as it’s quite difficult to find and I had to cut it out the old case. So great product if you know to transfer the immobiliser chip.

Two parts that didn’t even lock together. Didn’t bother returning as not worth spending more money for postage

Works just as you would expect and is high quality. Easy to assemble, just make sure the small transponder unit is DEFINITELY transferred from the old key fob!! Seems durable and the build quality is good, although not as good as the stock fob.
