Can you test dc current ( amperage) with the clamp feature ? i knew it was only posible with a/c because of inductance, but by judging one review…………

The descriptions are clear: The 200 count model can measure current in AC only The 6000 count model can measure current for both AC and DC

Will this device measure AC inrush amps?

Yes, can measure peak and also low amperage

Can you measure low dc current using the probes

I HAVE MANY SMALL METERS THIS BEST ONE OF THE BUNCH. IT WILL READ CAPS ON AIR CONDITIONERS 50 MFD 350VOLTS. LOW CURRENT BOTH ON AC AND DC WORK VERY WILL. PHIL
