Perfect little Bushcraft Pot-Rice Cooker
Great quality and very lightweight So far, I've used this pot to cook brown rice, hulled barley and used it as a steamer for a couple of tamales! One cup of uncooked grain yields two perfect sized portions when cooked! There were no English language instructions included but after watching a couple of YouTube videos plus previous experience with other rice cookers, it was a piece of cake! With the inner pot containing the rice nested in the outer pot, I just added water until it was about a half inch over the rice. Clamp the lid on and set the burner on med. As soon as steam starts escaping from the vent hole, turn it down to low and let it ride for 15-20 minutes! Perfectly cooked rice or barley! This is just what I needed to expand my camping cookware!

Does what it's supposed to very, very well, with a couple of backup tricks up it's sleeve
I've had this for about four and a half years now and use it all the time. In fact I used it tonight to make a big helping of 'risotto', sure you can't quite simmer the arborio rice in the sauce as much, but the results are still pretty good. White rice, brown rice, jasmine, arborio, this thing handles them all like a champ and with no messy clean-up required. The clean up is the important thing. You can easily fill it to the brim with thoroughly cooked rice and none of it will stick at all. You can also use it as a steamer should you like, or even a small oven with a little bit of hacking. I don't use it for baking, I occasionally use it for steaming veggies with salmon. Oh, and the main pot is the perfect size for a standard French press filter. But the rice cooker is where it's at. It might be for camping, but the results are good enough for the home. in fact, I have an electric automatic rice cooker that I no longer seem to use as much ever since I started using this titanium marvel. It's expensive, but if you use it often like I do, and make sure to use it outside it's purpose then it's a great piece of kit. The only down side is that it does require an oddly shaped silicon gasket. This gasket does get somewhat loose after time and I'm worried about losing it on the trail, or having it fall down the garbage disposal and get chewed by accident. Replacing it would probably require contact with Keith's customer service, but I don't have a problem with that, as I've dealt with them before and they are quite accommodating. This is the second piece of Keith gear I've bought with my own money, the other being the water bottle/canteen set, and I've been happy with both my purchases.

Very high quality
Keith titanium new to me, I purchased this rice cookset/cookpot and it is amazing. Great product, well built and lightweight. I will be replacing my stainless gear, which i have been using for a long time to titanium. Everything i look for keith titanium has a version of it. Worth the money. I'm glad I found them.

Actually Really Handy
A bit confusing 1st time I used it, but it works great. My respect and thanks to the designer! Glad I bought it. Very adequate size, weight and quality. I feel confident that I'll be using it for the rest of my life.

Works flawlessly once you get your ratios right
I am a big fan of Keith titanium products and the Ti6300 is close to perfect. I say close to perfect only due to the cost of titanium backpacking cookware. No real fault of Keith but the cost does limit this cook pot to being a luxury item since we all know you can cook rice on a alcohol stove without this pot. As for the actual use ... perfect ! I have cooked all meals in the pot for a week and find the pot to work extremely well. Rice comes out cooked perfectly after I found the combination of water to rice and simmer time. For the rice I use I need one oz more of water than listed on the side of the inner pot. I bring the pot up to boiling with no simmer ring, put the Trangia burner simmer ring on at half closed and simmer for 10 to 11 minutes. Rice is perfectly cooked with just enough water in bottom to not have a dry boil issue. Same times for veggies and they come out perfect. Using the outer pot for boiling water is effective as you would expect, I do like the lid locks for packing and storage.

I can't say enough nice things about it!
So far it's been really awesome and I highly recommend it. The one caveat is that this is a great purchase If you like to actually cook real meals in the back country; as opposed to just boiling water and re-hydrating a mountain house meal in a bag. In that scenario, it's worth the extra weight and cost. If not, you're better off just using a single walled mug for heating water on an alcohol stove which is cheaper and lighter. Assuming you see yourself more as an outdoor gourmet and less as an ultra lightweight backpacker, then you'll find the versatility really handy. It's "pot within a pot" design allows it to be much more then a steamer for rice and vegetables with a few simple hacks. * The outer pot can be a drinking mug while you're using the inner pot for an eating bowl which is really handy and keeps the pack weight down. Just don't plan on eating soup out of the inner pot because it does have steam holes. It's fine for rice and pasta though! * Bring some waterproof tape with you to cover the steam hole at the top; then you can use it as a cold soaker to prepare meals with you while you hike. The top clamps down nice and tight and makes it a pretty functional Vargo Bot in this scenario. * Bring a thin / small metal sheet and mini bread pan with you and you can use it as a mini oven for both steam and dry baking, * Repurpose a neoprene knee wrap for an insulating sleeve like you see on a Jetboil, and this allows it to cozy cook food pretty well. At the very least you'll be able to hold it and warm your hands while you are sipping hot drinks out of it on long cold nights. That being said: it's NOT a pressure cooker. The only reason I bring it up is that there is a video out there of the company testing a beta version of the pot with a pressure cooker feature. To be clear this does NOT have that feature, so be aware of what you are getting. I did read somewhere that the company would be selling a pressure cooker lid at some point in 2018, which I will be sure to buy. Really, I can't say enough nice things about it. I'm looking forward to more Keith products in the future!

Way overpriced.
This rice cooker is $25 less on the Keith Titanium website. Buyer beware. Oh, the pot? Itโs a cult product for a reason.

Great piece of kit
Initial impressions are that this is a great (but not inexpensive) piece of kit. After reading many reviews, I see some people feel this is limited in scope. Personally, I feel you can make something work if you feel like it. I agree that it is not as stable as a lower, wider pot when perched on a small camp stove. However, I like the design and no single piece of kit is going to be perfect for all people or applications (I use a Trek 700 on my Evernew DX set and it's not super stable when feeding sticks). Kieth may offer a jiggler version, but the time line keeps getting extended. The price isn't going to go down in the next few years and hopefully they will offer an upgrade kit to older versions. I haven't seen any DIY hacks to make a real pressure cooker, but I'm looking for one. This unit wouldn't be able to produce very much pressure (I'd be surprised if it could manage 5lbs honestly) and with the steam hole it probably manages 3lbs with a quarter over the hole. I'm more excited about cooking grains without scorching in titanium. After searching YouTube for recipes, I'm going to do my best to see what it can do at home under controlled conditions before taking it into the field. I'm a big Vargo BOT fan for its versatility and hope this can be similar. Maybe I can save fuel by pre-soaking chosen grains. I'm going to make a Reflectix koozie as well. My trusty Bibler hanging stove with a wire bail or steel can stabilizing collar, may have some good results. Overall, excited to see how it handles.

Fantastic bit of hiking kit, thoroughly recommended.
Got this and immediately cooked some rice. Absolutely amazed to get perfect rice first time. I've ordered some dried mixed vegetables and bought spices and stock cubes, and I think this is going to transform my lightweight hiking meals. Put 100g rice, stock cube, dried veg and a few spices in a ziplock bag, just add water when ready to cook. Way healthier than the dehydrated meals you buy and completely customisable. Pot is very lightweight, 900ml and 291g with lid (but without inner) so great as a camping pot to boil water or cook normally on too. Really impressed.

It is a wonderful little cooker for camping
I have used this rice cooker a number of times and I really like it. It is easy to cook rice perfectly. I use a little more water than they recommend and cook for a few minutes longer but rice is never soggy.
