I can't believe it took me so long to get one of these! I had ACL surgery a couple years ago and ended up with a blood clot after surgery. 2 years later I still have moderate to severe swelling in my knee. I've been going to physio for two years and notice the mild exercise combined with massaging the quad muscle upwards seems to dramatically reduce the swelling for a couple days. Now I can do this at home! The roller feels great on my quads rolling upwards and helps keep the swelling down. I finally feel like I can manage the swelling myself.
