i used this to polish my stainless steal sink in the kitchen.i used 2000 grit wet and dry sand paper before I used the 4000 grit wet and dry sand paper.You can get the 2000 grit wet and dry sand paper from amazon prime.Anyway I think that 3000 grit wet and dry sand paper which you can also get from amazon prime would have done a better job than the 4000 grit wet and dry sand paper.
