Toolcard Pro Money Clip

Great product, compact and effective!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I did not want to keep a wallet in my back pocket and this is the real answer. I have had mine for over 4 years and always carry it and really love it. I generally carry a $20, a 10, two 5’s and 5 ones and then stuff my frequently used credit card between the cash. The clip is heavy enough that it always stays at the bottom of my pocket and is thin enough that it does not take up much space. I just put a minimalist wallet with my Driver’s License and other necessary cards in my sock first thing in the morning and don’t have to think about it after that. I do not use the Multi tool feature very much because I usually have tools close at hand.

Construction quality is very good. The clip-on and clip-off works great and the connection is very secure. The tool that gets used most is the bottle opener of course, but I've gotten use out of just about everything over the month I've had it. I'm going to email Levergear and ask them if they might make another version that's tuned a little more to the needs of a light-traveler. Maybe a very basic hair comb and something that will stand my phone up on the table. Note that I already have both of those tools in my wallet. But they aren't as well made as this is. Wouldn't it be great to replace 3 tools with one.

for me, the tool card pro is 99% wallet 1% tool. after 6 months of light use the finish has held up surprisingly well. phillips, flat head, pry bar, rulers, bottle opener, and can opener are all very useful on a monthly basis -- the 'wrenches'? no so much. the body of the tool gets in the way most of the time. the can opener works quite well, but often I only get about 80% around the can before the effort becomes painful on bare hands -- but it's easy to pry the can open at that point. the clip can hold 5 cards and few bills very comfortably. the clip design, so far, has been flawless (once you learn the trick to take it on and off). and all of the useful tools can be used with the clip on. i do not use the tools that often because its a bit of a hassle to remove the cards and cash -- however, i always have it on me because the toolcard pro is my only wallet.

It's a great tool. The money clip is ok. It'll scratch all your credit cards. Rip some bills of you're not careful. I have a metal credit card too and it scratched the hell out of it.

Gave this as a Christmas gift for my son as a replacement to the one I got him the year before from Target. Much better quality. Heavier gauge metal. Super strong clasp to hold cards, ID, and cash. Can really use it as a screwdriver, bottle opener, many many uses! Cheap price for a well made item!

i bought this to kind of lighten up my every day carry kit. while it doesnt replace my leatherman supertool, it will definitely get the job done and weighs almost nothing. the build quality and finish are excellent. the markings are as clear as day. im an auto technician by trade and funny enough, i just got it today and ive already used this to get into an insanely tight spot and turn a 12mm bolt. one thing i do recommend to anyone is to watch the demo videos on youtube. to detach the money clip i used a small screw driver to pry it. if i had the seen the video i wouldve known how easy it actually was.

I regularly carry a Victorinox Swiss army knife, or if I have my backpack a Leatherman or similar (have various multi-tools). None of these are designed to turn or hold hex bolts and nuts, which is why I bought this particular tool card. Used it day two of ownership to prevent a nut from turning while I tightened down the bolt with pliers, worked a treat with no issues. I had pliers but needed them for the bolt, so without the Lever toolcard, no fix. Note, you should really only use spanners on bolts to avoid damage to them or yourself but this was an impromptu repair. What it's meant for. This product is seriously well made and I can't fault it's manufacture. It provides the basic ability to tighten various screws and as previously mentioned can turn hex bolts and screws of various sizes but not nasty rusted on one's as there's no ability to apply serious torque to them. There are short metric and imperial rulers marked out on the tool, again of use in the right circumstances. I used it to identify the correct length screws when sorting out flat pack furniture fittings at work (no tape measure handy). There are also markers for 45° 60° etc. again useful in the absence of proper measuring tools. All these markings are laser printed and will deteriorate with age and wear and tear. I'd like to see them embossed into the tool but that's a minor criticism. I bought my Lever toolcard with the optional money clip but it's not seen much use yet. Having this fitted stops you putting the toolcard in a wallet or cardholder but it's easily taken on and off once you perfect how to. Have fun with that! You need to remove the money clip to use the open ended hex fittings. For the sheer volume of features this item has you should really watch the product videos on YouTube before deciding whether or not it's of use to you and worth buying. At nearly £30 with the money clip it's not cheap but I'm glad I purchased it. There are lots of cheap alternative items out there that are poor quality and don't do the job they say they can. Buy this, or buy nothing. Oh, and this has a minimalist string cutter but no sharp edges or blades, use a knife 🔪 if you need to cut something.

Miglior toolcard sul mercato, ben rifinita e utilissima, il prezzo è alto, vale ogni centesimo, potrei definirla il victorinox delle carte multitool. Se si vuole fare un confronto con wallet ninja direi che ninja perde, anche se valida, con lever gear c'è un livello alto di dettagli e precisione. La clip è rimovibile, basta fare pressione con uno stuzzicadenti nel gancio centrale. Ottimo prodotto se si vuole evitare una lama, ne consiglio l'acquisto, non rimarrete delusi.

Fits well in my minimalist wallet. Very tough and fills most of my edc requirements when combined with the lever bit vault. Very light in weight.
