This light was well packaged and protected, and is of better quality of build that I expected. It installed easily with lots of options to account for whether this would be a new or replacement installation (replacement for me, and rather than being fed from behind, as intended, I was easily able to side-feed it via a pre-existing waterproof conduit.) The light output is as advertised, and I can find nothing negative to mention. Now for the real test: most LED lights are not, in my experience, lasting as long as the lights that they are replacing (high pressure sodium, fluorescent, or even incandescent.) They consume less power (although not always significantly less than fluorescent) and run cooler (again, not always significantly less than fluorescent) ... but they not coming close to advertised life (again, in my experience) much less reducing maintenance time on those that are hard to reach. So, 5 stars for now, but I will re-visit this as its lifetime is measured. BTW, this light is controlled by a good-quality photocontrol that allows the light to be on only during the dark, and has a delay that prevents stressing a light by preventing unwanted on-off switching.

This is a really nice light . I don't think that you can do any better than this deal. I loved the fact that you can just unplug the heavy front half with the glass globe and LED array and leave it on the ground while you take the back half up the ladder and install it on the wall. It gives off a huge amount of very bright light, I replaced a 12 year old metal halide wall pack with this one. I could not be happier ! Now I shouldn't have to treck up a ladder every two years and risk a bad fall to replace the MH bulb , If this thing does what the ad claims It should last around 12-14 years. Next time I will have my 25 year old grandson replace it for his ol pappy ! LOL !!

Excellent choice for a shop or barn. Good coverage and low power draw. Long lasting too, I've had mine for 5 years and no problem.

Look and work great. The mounting plate that comes with the fixture held it too far out from the wall for my liking so I removed the plate, drilled my own mounting holes through the back, and mounted them directly to the brick wall which allowed me to apply a nice bead of caulk all the way around. Otherwise, I would have had to fight bees nesting behind it. Good quality and everything installed with ease. Would purchase again

Though a little expensive, it was well worth the cost. I have a 30 x 35 garage and don't always want to turn on the big over head lights just to grab something quick out of the shop. Turn this puppy on and it does the job. Little slow on the start up (second or so) but no big deal
