Great aid for adults with cognitive impairment, dementia, or Alzheimer’s
I bought this for my husband who has cognitive impairment. He is challenged when he tries to determine what time he should leave the house for an appointment, golf tee times, etc. For example, if he needs to be somewhere at 9:00 and it takes 45 minutes to get there, he starts the clock at 9:00 and backs off 45 minutes using the minute hand. The hour hand moves appropriately just as it would on a real clock. The resulting time is clearly 8:15. The clock comes with a small stand, and we keep it on the counter as a reminder of the time we need to leave the house. While the bright yellow color may seem geared toward little kids, when I opened it, my husband said he loved it. I highly recommend this clock.

Perfect for homeschool
This clock is perfect for my first and third grader to use during their homeschool math lessons. I love that the hour hand moves as you move the minute hand. It makes the time realistic looking as far as the placement of the hour hand, without them having to guess where it should be. Seems pretty durable as well.

Glue the stand in place or magnets
Works as described but the stand has a tendency to fall out. I put some magnets on the back (took a little effort to figure it out but works like a charm now) and store it on fridge. When using it we just lay it down on the table.

Pricey but looked like his teachers and perfect for virtual 1st grade learning
My grandson's teacher recommended that each child have an analog clock similar to one like this that she had, for virtual 1st grade classroom learning, so I got this for him. It looks just like his teacher's clock, and works well, nice and bright and easy to handle. Teacher says he will need it for 2nd grade too, so crossing our fingers it will last. Pricey but necessary for virtual learning during COVID-19 distance learning days.

great product!
My elderly dog is on medications that can't be given too closely together. This little clock has been a lifesaver reminding me when his next dose is due. The bright colors make it stand out so I can easily see it wherever I put it down.:)

Great Learning Clock
I like this clock for teaching kids to tell time. It offers easy to read numbers and lines to tell time accurately. The fact that it is geared to move the arms correctly showing how time moves, is a plus. You are always teaching a real time configuration instead of having a clock without gears where you can freely move the time to any old place. That would make it easy to show inaccurate time examples. The small size of the clock is a plus since it is easy to read, see from a short distance, and store. The plastic is durable and it has a removable easel back to stand upright. The price is a bit high for the item but I'd say it is worth under $5.

Compact, Functional Learning Clock That’s Great for Hands-On Time Practice
The hand2mind Plastic Mini Geared Clock is a simple but effective teaching tool for helping kids understand how to tell time. The standout feature is the geared mechanism — when the minute hand is turned, the hour hand moves proportionally. This makes it much easier to demonstrate how time progresses and helps reinforce the relationship between minutes and hours in a concrete way. The size was smaller than I initially expected. However, for homeschooling and one-on-one instruction, the compact design actually works well. It fits easily on a desk or table without taking up much space. If you are teaching a larger classroom group, you might prefer a slightly larger model for better visibility from a distance. The plastic construction feels sturdy enough for regular use, and the bright yellow color keeps it visually engaging without being distracting. The numbers are clear and easy to read, and the hands move smoothly without being too loose. Pros: Geared hands accurately demonstrate time progression Lightweight and easy for kids to handle Clear numbers and simple design Good size for tabletop or homeschool use Cons: Smaller than expected May be too small for group classroom visibility Overall, this is a practical, straightforward learning clock that does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s especially well suited for homeschool settings or small-group instruction where a large demonstration clock isn’t necessary.

Mimics a real clock in hand movement
I think what I like most about this is how the hour and minute hand are connected internally so they move together like a real clock. When the hands are separate, it’s easy to put the hour hand just on the hour and the minute hand just on the minute and it doesn’t mimic the actual clock when the time shows, say, 3:55, where the hour hand is almost to the 4. With this, my kids get to practice seeing how the hands move together and reading an accurate clock. I also like that it has the 5 minute increments marked with their value.

To move the hour hand you have to move the minute hand around. Kids will naturally learn more the relationship between the hands by doing it. You can talk about the times while playing. My kid wanted to turn the hands on my real clock which might break it, so for me I was worth the cost to get this toy so that we can practice time together.

Correct pour apprendre l'heure mais je la trouve un peu trop petite

Je m’attendais à quelque chose de plus grand et robuste. Déçu du produit en question.
