Pretty good
It's a little more flimsy than I hoped for but it's nice and tall and fits large and small paper rolls nicely. I'd buy it again

A bit of a puzzle
I have some others like these, and have had them for many years. I don't know if it's the same company. These are the taller ones. They're perhaps a bit too tall, but I thought I might get some extra long paper.... We use a lot of reusable wraps in the family, but proper paper with fluffy hand tied ribbons makes a gift just that much more special. Storage is an issue. These bins are perfect. I put thin cores inside wide ones, sometimes even tripled up. The shipping package was bent in the middle, like folded in half, but the bin was fine and show no crease nor ill effect and seems as sturdy as the others. It's not that figuring out how to put this together was hard, but I was hot and tired before I started and a diagram would have been nice, especially since the bin is longer than my arm. Parts: Rectangular bin (with soft cloth floor), lid, hard floor with tab, longways dividers, shortways dividers. 1 Open the bin. 2. Hard Floor: Pull the pull tab on the back, up to the top side on the floor piece. Match the shape of the floor to the opening. Push it down inside the bin to fit snugly on the bottom. A roll of paper is a good aid. If you're very organized and expect to be folding up the bin to get it out of your way during wrapping season, you can tie a sting to the tab and one of the handles, making pulling the floor out much easier. I expect one could just invert the bin and tap the floor until it falls, instead of pulling said string. 3. Divide the cardboard into a stack of long ways (5 tabs) and shortways (4 tabs). Start with two longs and two short, and interlock the slits in the centers. Add the rest. It's easiest to do on a table. 4. Put the bin by the table with the long sides more or less facing the same direction as the interlaced cardboard grid. Slide one hand under the grid and steady it with the other. Match it to the bin opening and just drop it. It should just fall all the way down. I put my jumbo rolls all in one bin, in the center, and moving it was heavy, but just fine.

Speedy delivery
Wish it was made from a sturdier material, but it meets my needs sufficiently.

Great idea that falls short
So this is an awesome idea; we have always struggled with the between seasons challenge of where/how to keep the LONG rolls of Christmas wrap?! The case itself is fairly well made and the colors (red with green trim) are a nice tip-off to what's inside. Also, its a nice functional touch to put handles on all four sides. Now for the downside: 1) In the first place the lid is not attached to the case, instead it's a separate piece. The first thing we did was misplace the lid for awhile before we finally found it again. The lid should be integrally attached to the top of the case; probably with zippers. That change would help with another problem I will discuss later. 2) In the second place this product is made to be used standing up -- it's not for sliding under the bed. Yes it's true that the picture in the product advert shows the case standing up; but I assumed that this could be put on it's side and slid under the bad. Bad assumption. 3) In the third place the whole thing is just too flimsy - there's not enough rigidity in the design to my thinking. Sure it will stand on it's end as shown in the picture; but the sides bow out from under the lid at the slightest touch. It's pretty precarious; and I am not really comfortable with something that tall being that wobbly. If the lid was stiffened up and integrally attached to the case it might help. 4) Fourthly I am extremely worried about product durability, especially the green handles mounted on the sides. It is surprising how much a dozen or more long rolls of wrap weigh; and every time I have to move the case I am worried one of the handles will rip off. It hasn't happened yet, but I am afraid it will in time. So all in all its a nice idea hindered by a mediocre implementation. Its better than a lot of similar products, but not good enough to recommend. Three stars out of five.

Bright and Christmas like!
The color is bright and Christmas like. The lid is short lipped and not attached, as the picture shows, so I can't dock it a star for that. We knew what we were getting (thanks to other reviewers pointing out the lid thing). I don't think it's an issue. We are thinking of taking some double-sided Velcro to make sort of a hinge and see how that works. If you don't use the inserts you could fit more paper in to the box. This looks alot better and we now have less clutter in the wrapping room. Suggestion for the manufacturer: Put some pockets or hooks/loops on the outside that could hold accessories like scissors or pens, bows, tape, labels, ribbon etc. Would be pretty cool.

Updated Review in Dec 2021. Think Hard About What you Want / Usefulness Falls VERY Short
Update in mid-December 2021 after owning/using this for two years. I stand by my original observation that this is a good product that is well made. It is still great because it stands upright and saves a lot of space. ...BUT... It's just not useful. At all. 1. It doesn't really hold a 40" roll of paper -- they stick out the top. Don't even bother with the 42" rolls. 2. The top doesn't stay on. No matter how hard you try. It is flimsy, and its sides only go down 1" which barely allows it to cling to the box itself. There is no zipper, snaps, velcro, etc. to hold the top down. 3. The internal grid of cardboard that is supposed to keep the rolls upright is less than useless...to the point of almost making it worse. It is thin and flimsy -- the same kind of cardboard used in shirt boxes or donut boxes. No structural rigidity. My point is that the rolls all lean drunkenly all over the place -- the don't stand upright. 4. The storage box has no rigidity. Because it's made to collapse/fold up on itself (?I suppose for storage if there wasn't paper in it?), it wobbles and jiggles all over the place and leans out from where it's stored and doesn't maintain a square shape. That exacerbates the uselessness of the roll-separating grid inside and the rolls leaning all over the place. 5. Almost impossible to see inside to put a roll in unless you use a hand held light or your phone. I continue to regret this purchase and this is the last year we'll have it. Cannot recommend buying this and caution other buyers against it. Original Post in December 2021: First and foremost, this is a GOOD product that is sturdy, strong, durable, and well made. It is GREAT for the fact that it stands upright and does not take up a lot of space. The design and usefulness, on the other hand? That's another story. 1. MEASURE your rolls of paper first: this box is only 40" tall -- that doesn't fit many rolls of wrapping paper. Yes, I know, it's in the description of the item -- my point to readers is just measure your rolls of wrapping paper first. 2. The internal "grid" of cardboard is MUCH too small. It only goes "up" inside the box about 12". So, your rolls of paper are not held upright; they slosh all over the place. 3. The top doesn't stay on. No matter how hard you try. It is flimsy, and its sides only go down 1" which barely allows it to cling to the box itself. There is no zipper, snaps, velcro, etc. to hold the top down. 4. Not easy seeing inside for the shorter rolls. 5. Hard to keep rolls from ripping as you put them in. In summary, this is a well-made product, but it is hard to use. I regret it and would prefer one of the "lying down" wrapping paper bins. This is thoroughly on me for having chosen this product; I should have picked one of the "bags" or the bins that open from the top while laying on their long side. My point and recommendation with this review is that the end user should very carefully consider how they'll use this.
