Sunlite 3 Sound Electric Horn

I bought this for my kids Power Wheels Keep. It mounted very easily with a plastic wire tie and the included metal bracket. Its so easy to use, the siren is clear and the voice mic works great. There is a spot on the back of the siren for the hand piece to clip into, and its quite sturdy. 2 thumbs up, and the price rocks. You will not regret buying this. My 4yr old just loves it.

The volume on this piece of over rated plastic is hardly sufficient to be noticed in a quiet room, let alone anywhere where the normal noise level one would expect outside where kids would be playing. My advice...Don't buy it! It will only cause you aggravation when you realize that you have been fleeced. Giving it to a child would only falsely raise his expectation of protection when he/she needed to be noticed to avoid danger or an accident. This "Super Siren" simply isn't worth anything. If it were in a $1.00 store, I wouldn't consider buying it...not even for a dime.

Based on the reviews and the fact that this is considered a children's toy, I expected it to be about as loud as those birthday cards you open and a siren goes off. Much to my surprise, it was quite loud. Even the microphone was pretty loud. However, the picture is not accurate (EDIT: 12/5/12 Looks like the picture has been updated)...the real device looks like the yellow and black siren, but then has a better quality cord (curly cord) than the picture attached to the microphone, kind of like a CB mic, that clips to the back of the horn. Switch on the mic lets you switch between siren and mic, and switch on the siren itself lets you switch between the 3 sirens. Downside, two of the three sirens sound exactly alike, so it's really only two different sirens. Also, entirely made out of plastic, so durability and weather resistance is questionable. But for the price, it's a fun novelty item.

My kids love it bought it as a Christmas present which I let them open this early. The shipping was so fast! I got it way before the shipping dates they stated! I would definitely do business with them again! Only complaint on the product itself is that it is extremely hard to attach to younger kids bikes that took a while, and one just won't seem to stay connected to the handle bars. But as far as shipping and the working ability of the product itself is great, and my kids love it. They want to rise playing with it for hours.

I think these are all wired backwards from the factory. I've seen multiple other reviewers saying the same thing. The black battery wire is soldered to the wrong terminal. The microphone setting/feature will not work AT ALL unless you switch the black battery with to the other terminal, where the brown wire is connected. I had to order a ~$12 soldering iron, also from Amazon to perform the fix, as I didn't already own one with a small enough tip for this small of a wire. The 3 stars is because I shouldn't have to fix the thing to make it work the first time. 5 stars after YOU fix it, though! The mic works as I would expect for a toy: loud enough for fun, but definitely not a professional PA...which is probably a GOOD thing. The sirens are all blaring and crystal clear now too. Close enough to the one I had back in the 80's, which I think this is modeled after. Same color and everything.

I had something like this when I was a kid and now I see how nothing changes. My boys love these sound machines and microphone. Attaches pretty easily to handlebars. Loud enough to have fun with but nothing too obnoxious for the neighborhood. Kids were on a trail the other day and people loved the sirens. Easy setup and easy install and a ton of fun for the little ones.

I ordered three of these to give as gag gifts to my nephews. They apparently had already been purchased for the same reasons, and the ground wires for the battery in two had been pulled loose; the switch on the third was damaged. I thought it would be fun holiday chaos to spread at the next family gathering. Sadly, they’re junk, and returning them only means someone will try to sell them again.

Thank you for a product that will alert others in a noisy environment. I tried other sound making devices, but people will still walk/bump into my wheelchair, especially in crowded shopping centers. With this new device, people are more aware of my presence. The only problem is the Voice mode. The sound is not clear, static noise, and high pitch sounds. Still, it is a great product, I usually do not use the voice mode, the other sounds are more effective.

VERY LOUD ! IT GETS HEARD !

Ecstatic when I saw it on Amazon,but when it arrived from the states straight away I could see it wasn’t as good as I remember from the early 80s the 3 tones were spot on not as loud no selector for tones on main body it is now on the microphone which doesn’t work properly and the main body is a lot smaller, so yes it’s ok but it’s not gonna take you back to 1980

Took months to arrive. Had to return the first one. It did not work. Took even longer to receive the second one. The microphone did not work, but I could not return it again, because my son's birthday was coming up .
