I bought these to mount 2.5” Kingston SSDs, and overall I’m happy with them. Installation was straightforward, the drives fit securely, and the plastic heatsink design looks cool. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that both of my units have a slight bow in the base. It’s subtle, but noticeable when placed on a flat surface. My guess is it’s a result of the plastic injection molding process rather than shipping damage. Fortunately, once the SSD is installed, it doesn’t seem to affect functionality or mounting at all. Everything lines up correctly and the drives work perfectly. If the manufacturer can improve the flatness of the enclosure, this would easily be a 5-star product. As it stands, it’s still a solid purchase that looks good and does the job well.

Good fit and fully functional. I just threw 2 of these in my jonsbo N5, and one of the other variants from this same brand. All work great.

used this adapter caddy to mount a 2.5-inch sata ssd inside an original fat 3900x ps2 paired with a sata network adapter. it puts the sata data and power connections in the exact right spot to align with a standard 3.5-inch drive form factor, so it plugs straight into the network adapter without putting weird strain on the internal connectors. the drive slides into the console expansion bay cleanly without rattling around or binding on the rails. cheap, straightforward solution that keeps a 2.5 drive securely seated in legacy hardware.

I needed this adapter for a recently purchased SSD that was too small for the original HDD bay of a repurposed machine I just got; now the disk fits snug in its bay; thanx, ORICO! SSD and adapter shown in picture.

Ideal for replacing the old 3.5"HDD in a computer with a new 2.5" HDD where the hard drive needs to be exactly the same size as a 3'5" drive. This may be the case where the drive plugs directly into computers mainboard without a cable, such as laptop or "all in one" PC such as the older HP Smart Touch. Good quality unit with all necessary screws.
