Q: I have ordered these twice and both times they have arrived damp. Are they supposed to be damp?

They’re not damp from water - so no worries about mold. It’s supposed to make them look absorbent in stores and when you open the package the first time. Otherwise they’d look like shriveled dried old cloths and that wouldn’t make for a nice out of the box experience. It’s just marketing.
