This is the handle Xacto wishes they’d designed.
OMG—holds blades tight. Does not loosen grip on the blades, even heavy duty ones, and is 100x better than any Xacto handle. I bought two other styles of Excel handles and they, also, hold a variety of blades tightly.

Don't buy X-Acto, but this!
Well made, feels sturdy. The X-ACTO version of this size handle snapped while in use. The red handle model that takes the heavier duty blades. The company makes garbage. Excel makes good quality stuff!
