what type the battery use for this ?

Each light comes already loaded with 2 unbranded generic rechargeable batteries of size #18659, which I have never used in any other device; they are larger than #AA. 18659s recharge right in the light via USB3 (NOT USB-c) connection. The battery space can actually utilize 2 different sizes of batteries. It can also be loaded with 4 #AA batteries. The furnished size is loaded in the battery compartment in one direction, and the AAs would be loadable crosswise in the same compartment. I've never had to use anything beyond the furnished batteries -- which recharge IN the device. Rechargeable AA batteries could be used for power in the light, but it isn't specified or clear to me IF they also recharge right in the light -- I suspect so, but don't see details from the manufacturer. And it just seems easier to use the larger more-powerful size -- either originals or some future replacements. Of course, if you already have a bunch of rechargeable AAs on hand and wish to use them if the larger batteries ever fail, you likely also already have a charger that fits AAs. Maybe more than you asked, but a thorough accurate reply.
