This is an OEM Weber part and given that it fits well as would be expected. Reasonably quick and easy to change and I am satisfied with the price. I have had this grill for many years and have needed to replace the ignitor every few years as they degrade/fall apart from the intense heat and secondary rust. Worth it to change the unit occasionally to avoid the need to constantly light with a match. I like the fact that staying with Weber gives the ability to usually find replacement parts and rebuild rather than constantly replacing an entire grill.

For $19, this is a good deal,but it didn't exactly fit my weber grill although the specs said it would. It's very easy to install and works just fine. The wires are too short, so I just spliced them in to the existing wires. The spark unit itself did not fit the gas tube, so I had to use wire to secure it. Once done, in less than 30 minutes, it works well and seems it will be reliable. I have no idea why they included a button/switch, because it didn't fit, but I had no problem just using the old one.

This product worked exceptionally well. The packaging was immaculate. It was shipped quickly and was a great price for a Weber part. It was a very easy install. I was upset this season when my grill didn’t start. My grill now works as well as it did when I first bought it. If you are having trouble with your grill starting, this is an easy and inexpensive fix. My grill is going on its second decade. I included a picture of what my igniter looked like just in case anyone (like me) cant figure out why your Weber Genesis won’t start.

Do you really need to replace? If no spark, there is a white wire with push on connections. The ends may not be making contact any more. Remove the ends from the metal tabs and using tuner cleaner spray or sandpaper, clean the metal ends. It may fix the problem. For the older style Weber Spirit gas grill E-310 model number 3721001- the one with the three gray knobs on the side and the gray push button for the igniter. This is the right button. Replacing the push button and the spark box takes ten minutes max. Getting that grey knob off? Good luck with that. Here is what I had to do to get the push button off. It has 4 tabs under the sheet metal that are impossible to push in enough to make the button and its case pop out of the hole (if you can, tell us how you did it in the comments!). Just pry the darn thing off starting at the back two sides. A small flat bladed screwdriver will get you started and a larger couple of them will finish prying it off. Don't worry about the tabs on the sides. Once the first two back tabs are up then keep prying from the back as the knob pivot prevents the front from lifting up. Once off, replacing the igniter is easy. Use a pair of pliers to make sure that the black wire is fully pushed up onto the button part and verify that you put the spark device facing the right way and bent the tab holding it in place tight. Finally, take the grey button and its case, clean it up and CUT OFF THE TABS! I used a Dremel tiny round saw blade but drilling them off would work as well. Then just put the button assembly back on the grill. Turns out that those tabs are useless and the button works fine without them! Makes it easier for the next time as well.

Nachdem der Zünder des fast schon antiken Weber Grills (wie auf dem 2. Produktbild zu sehen) nicht mehr funktionierte und das Feuerzeug keine sichere Alternative bot, wurde ich hier fündig. (Verkäufer "BIC-WAREHOUSE") Das Set enthält die abgebildeten Teile und der Einbau war mit Schraubenzieher und Zange recht schnell erledigt. Der Grill funktioniert somit wieder einwandfrei und kann sicher gezündet werden. Auf einem meiner Fotos kann man die Verpackung sehen mit Weber Produktnummer "7510". Ob dieser Zünder auch für andere/neuere Grills passt kann somit hoffentlich herausgefunden werden.

Excellent Weber quality, but just make sure you buy the right one. I have a Weber Genesis Silver, but it also has an extra burner to the right side of the control panel. This igniter doesn't have the extra terminal for that burner.

This part was ordered and delivered quickly by Dynamex Courier using Prime. It is a genuine Weber part and had detailed instructions for installation and took only 10 minutes to change the old ignitor for the new one. It is a perfect fit and the wires are the correct length, unlike some reviews of the competitive part. It works perfectly and I am happy that I no longer have to use a lighter to start it. Very pleased with quality and quick delivery.
